2013-2014 Football Thread v.3 - Come on You Hull

Paris restaurant offers ‘Le Zlatan,’ a huge and expensive burger dedicated to Ibrahimovic

Le Zlatan: Available with fries, salad or a punch in the face (@ProZlatan)

Most tourists visiting Paris don't come for the burgers, but an exception might now be made for "Le Zlatan," an obnoxiously oversized meaty treat created in honor of Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibra is big, tough to handle and very expensive — much like this new burger. He's also thought by some to be overrated and can fill you with regret if you get too close to him — much like this new burger.

The Guardian has the mouth-watering details of the dish being offered by Doddy's Cafe in the Parisian suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt:

The burger, just like the PSG forward, is a commanding presence, combining 600 grams [over 1.3lbs] of mince beef with onions, bacon and three types of cheese including cheddar, Emmental and Auvergne blue, all contained in a giant bun that has been specially made for the restaurant.

The gigantic burger costs a princely €29.90, which is double the price most other burgers they offer. Presumably, if you dare to order it you must refer to yourself only in the third person.

The menu description — which is accompanied by a silhouette of a man performing a high kick — boasts that "even Chuck Norris couldn't fit it in his mouth."

Restaurant manager Jean-Philippe Grandin has challenged the mighty Zlatan to come and taste his eponymous meal, which only seven customers have managed to finish so far.

If Grandin really wants the Swede to come to his restaurant, he should casually mention that Pep Guardiola was one of the folks who couldn't finish the burger. Zlatan would come down, inhale three of them and flying kick the waiter in the throat quicker than you can say "Catalan coward."

Made up 3- 0 at There place it doesn't get better than that n with all there expensive signings couldn't breakdown a defence that cost £6 mili#

A Proud day for all West Ham Fans .

Agreed. Congrats to west ham fans.

Fair result for arsenal today.

What went wrong:

We didn't press WBA enough.
Giroud should have been more clinical.
Rosicky should have started ahead of wilshere.
Arsenal players were complacent.
We dearly miss our wide players.

We're hoping for automatic promotion this season. Failing that, we should be in the play-offs again

That goal By Ravel Morrison was class .

The next Paul Scholes they said , best player to come through the Man you youth team for years but didn't have the right Attitude , ffs not even Sir Alex could sort him out .

Well he looked pretty sorted yesterday in the Claret & Blue .:)

Morrison and Pogba looked like 2 of our best prospects in a long while, both playing CM positions as well we needed. Pogba had a strop because fergie played rafael in midfield instead of Pogba once against blackburn and ever since then he had it in his mind he wanted out of UTD, Juventus came calling and he was straight out.

Morrison was different though, when he was earning ££££ he was still bawling round moss side on his BMX, hanging round with his "gang mates" pics of him with guns etc.. He was in court pretty much every month about something or other, Fergie said he needed to get out of Manchester all together for him to get sorted out.

Anyway, nice win for the irons!

UTD could have possibly had Pogba, Morrison, Janzuaj and Lingard (on loan at Birmingham currently, scored 4 on his debut) all coming through at the same time as well as a host of other youngers, oh well.

Mendo_K;11872583 Morrison was different though said:
Mark Noble said he was enjoying it in London & the senior players @ West Ham were looking out for him n we all know that Kev Nolan is very good at that .

I think the change of area has done him well but ultimatley it was himself that turned it round , i'm made up for the kid n West Ham

Liverpool fans have started to use the acronym SAS to describe their players Suarez and Sturridge.

To follow suit....Manchester Utd fans are trying to think of one for their players Welbeck, Anderson, Nani, Kagawa

Even the sunderland player thought it was in, and it being 2-0 we could have been fucked. These are the type of headers Joe "Brave" Heart watches go in the far corner, rooted to the spot. Hes like a cat.

Yeah the wilshere goal was one of the best I've ever seen. 6 one touches with two flicks between giroud and wilshere. Exquisite. Left me with an unexplainable smirk on my face.

Role reversal
Giroud - 2 assists
Ozil - 2 goals

Plus wilshere and Ramsey grabbed a goal and assist each.

arsenal looking good this season wether they will go on to win it tho i'm not sure. liverpool will do there usuall good start then taper off towards the end, united are going through transition and had the worst start for as long as i can remember. this is gonna be the closest league for a long time

I tipped em 4 the title b4 they got Ozil simply because they were the only team in the top 4/5 that hadn't changed manager . SHM will confirm this cos i said it in a pm to him
