If you want a good quality accurate 0.1g then something like a Ohaus Compact listed here at $159 +10% GST is something worth considering. Ohaus is a well respected precision weighing brand. If you don't care about quality and aren't fussed about an exact accuracy, hit ebay. Personally I would shell out the little extra for a decent balance, and wouldn't bother visiting smoking paraphernalia stores as the prices are quite higher than you can find elsewhere.

I missed the toilet and projectile vomited across the whole room. Tripping off your scone, wiping vomit off the tiles, and trying desperately not to be sick again is probably something I'll try and steer clear of in the future. I'd think it was clean and then I'd "see" more stuff. My sister came in and said, "It's been clean for like 15 minutes. . .leave it alone already!"
Is vomiting from taking too many shrooms normal? I feel kinda queasy when I drink the tea normally, but never to the point of barfing. . .
Mongman, when you and you g/f undertook the 5.5 grams did you vomit? Was that not a full-fledged bullshit trip?

I have 'needed' to vomit off shrooms before, but never actually got there. Gagged a few times. It's bloody horrible. Worse than vomitting on weed.
It's a real fucked up car-sickness feeling.
But yes, it is quite common to vomit on shrooms when eating a generous dose. I have had a few mates vomit in my vacinity. Quite a strange experiance to be around when tripping...
P.S. I found i only got sick/stomach cramps when i first started out on shrooms. These days I have no problems except getting really gassy, which can become quite uncomfortable at times =P

Munted: haha yeah it can be very fun and strangely cleansing as killarava2day says!! When we had 5.5 grams each my girlfriend vomited quite a lot but managed to resist the urge for a while (we only had a small room to trip in so I was reluctant to stink it up to much) then it just go TO INTENSE and I have a bit of a puke. The trick is to wait until your realy flying or you lose some of the potency of the mushrooms. Then again it is you body saying "bail out" so maybe its good to listen some times.....
Psychadelic_Paisly: I find it to be more of a "gota go", puke, ahh sort of thing where the feeling comes on then you react on it (or not), then you feel great straight away. But I havent got that high for a long time so I may have forgoten what its like.

I've often gotten uncomfortably sick on mushrooms, but usually it passes, I don't think i've ever actually vomitted though. I've read that dramamine is good for helping the stomach (just 1 or 2 tablets, not any more otherwise you'll be tripping off the dramamine which would not be fun). Also, ginger is meant to help too.

Yeah, I have a feeling I may have lost some of the potency of the shrooms with the emesis which disappointed me. An hour after vomiting I felt straight, not even any residual cool visuals, and the shine was taken off the start of the trip becuase I felt so nauseous.
Ginger you say to help quell the stomach? What about Maxalon? I have some of that around, maybe I should have one of those and let it kick in before the next trip?

dramamine is usually used for motion sickness.. you can pick it up from most pharmacys.. helps with nausia.. i usually just stick to ginger tea though

re: dramamine this shit seriously fucks with you if you take two much. Two friends of mine took about five times as much as hardi recommended and besides being quite sick and thinking their throats would swell to the point of asphsixciation they smoked cigerettes that weren't there and waited for a friend to make a phone call in phone box, except the friend wasn't with them and the phone box didn't exist either. that + mushrooms = bad!
Yeah, vomiting is pretty normal for some people, most peopel i know at least *feel* like they need to vomit, my gf and I are lucky, at most they only make us slightly sickly in the stomach for a few min, but nothing too intense.
I use fresh ginger when i take HBWR seeds and it does lessen the sickness significantly, prob be great for mushrooms. If you smoke pot, a joint can calm the nerves a bit also, but obviously it is also going to taint your trip somewhat.
A friend of mine swears by smoking a couple cigs when he get's sick from mushies, or even having a beer, dont ask me how that works, but he says it does.

Well I just got back from a hunt in my old home town. Pine-forrest country (sorry mongman 
). And all I can say is that that was the most AMAZING hunt I've ever been on.
While the booty wasn't that spectacular (~50), the experiance was 'phaw'!!!
For over an hour I didn't find ANY subs. I was becoming devastated. It was PRIME mushroom territory. I just wish I had a camera to show you guys.
It was like a nightmare to begin with. Surrounded buy every mushroom type except subs. The thing was, the 'look-alike' mushrooms weren't like your normal look-alikes in the city... THEY LOOK EXACT!!! 110% EXACT untill you looked at the gills/stem, which were much too light and brown.
You guys have NO IDEA how similar they were. Usually after looking around you get your eye in for what ISN'T a sub, but for over an hour i was looking at these fucking mushrooms, doubting my ID'ing skills, which I am very confident of. I was walking around for a while with some in my hands, WAITING for them to turn blue. But alas, the mass amount of these bastards were not what I was after.
After treaking through some very thick pine-forrest i came to a scrub/pine-forrest boundary where JACKPOT! i found ALL my subs, bar 3. It was really weird. Has me quite puzzled. And these subs were BEAUTIFUL; stems no shorter than 10cm, caps ~3-5cm. Undamaged... beautiful
Some of the othter species were IMACULATE! There was this one (mongman, you would have had a haemerrage) that (i kid-you-not) stood ~35-45cm, had a pure white stalk that was about 5cm thick and the cap was a ver shallow 'w' shape and was pitch black.
Also, these tiny little one that grew on logs were ELECTRIC blue and had an almost black dot in the centre. They looked like little eye balls. They even had tyep of water covering, making the effect look even more real!
totally amazing. Shits all over city-picking. Gonna head out again tomorrow and go the other way. I need more pairs of eyes as there is just WAY too much area to cover!

The main way i consume my mushrooms is brewed in a strong peppermint tea. It' tastes yummy and the peppermint helps your stomach. Maybe i'm wrong but also not actually eating the shrooms may help ease the stomach
I realy am itching to take some photos of these different types of fungi your findin!! Im realy interested in all the amazing different types out there. Im gona come visit in the near future and I will post some pics up here!! Man ENVY if only I didnt have an exam this morning I could have been there to see them!!! 45 cm you say....... =0

I would look for 5min at a time in my hand, changing from looking at the cap and going 'p. sub', turning it around so i could see the stem, and going 'not a p. sub'. Amazing really.
Sucks about your exam, I felt like a bit of a bastard just leaving like that, but I will be back tomorrow night. We'll go for a hunt on saturday

Apparently there's gonna be frost (cold + moisture) tonight which hopefully will bring subs my way.... oh yeah i got an exam tomorrow, DOH! 
Ok Iv already had my first electric scale confiscated (stolen) by the jacks and I'm not in a position to spend another couple hundred bucks on a new one.
I have tried looking for 00 sized gelcaps at couple of local stores but had no luck yet. Might have to try further a field. Anyways i read you could fit 500 - 700mg into them. Now I have a bottle of magnesium capsules which contain the following: 150mg Magnesium orotate, 150mg Magnesium aspartate, 170mg Magnesium oxide, (total magnesium 114.4mg), 25mg Vit B6, 30mg Zinc gluconate, 250mg Cramp Bark - ext equiv stem bark inner dry.
Now to me they dont feel like they wiegh half a gram but i could very well be wrong as I dont know the size of a 00 gelcap. Whatever the case is I'd like to know (in theory) how much dry shroom matter would fit in one of these caps. I was thinking about using one as a measuring device.
P.S The only time I've chucked while trippin was when (a few hours in) i decided a light beer would go down well, I almost got half way thru it before it came back up. It certainly wasnt the highlight of my trip but it did induce a state of mind in me that i havent experienced before, and I learnt from it... one being that shrooms plus beer dont mix.
