Benzos The Benzodiazepine MEGA THREAD - Direct Benzo Questions Here

Thought I was the only one that thinks clonazepam is shut, took 30th in .5mg tabs 2 weeks ago to no avail, have tonnes of the yokes, gonna fuck them out now. Xanax is my drug of choice, I'm down to .5mg a day now with loads of spares. On bad days I can take up to 10th but feel very little, it's as if my tolerance never went down despite my tolerance break to .5mg daily, am I doing it right I wonder...???!!!

Am I the only one that don't get fucked up from Klonopin?...
I take lots of Valium & Xanax and that shit does the trick no problem!
Just took 50mg (100x 0.5mg tabs) of Klonopin over 90 minutes ago, chased them with two pints of Rickards Red and jack shit!

400mg of Valium or 20mg of Xanax fucks me up too the point where I cant walk straight.
Anybody else have this issue with Klonopin?

...I fucking hate the shit!
I hate it too brother!

Has anyone else noticed how awesome it feels to cum while on benzos or is it just me?
Just.. this supernice sensation in my dick.
Hope I can try having sex on them someday.

I need an answer to this question in like at least 6 hours, someone please!

Let's say my
circadian rhythm is adjusted to be awake during the night due to nightly work shifts but I need to go to an early meeting tomorrow. I read that Lorazepam is a very good benzo for treating insomnia (which I don't have but I would like to sleep through the night instead of waking up when my body and brain are adjusted to) but, quoted from Wikipedia: "It has a fairly short duration of action." Which worries me that it will make me fall asleep easier but when the effects wear off in the sleep I might wake up again.

So my question is, would it help me fall asleep quicker and make me sleep through the FULL night or is there a risk I am going to wake up between 2-4 in the morning and not being able to go back to sleep? Due to it's short duration of action.

I really need and would definitely appreciate a good answer in 6 hours or less. Please help a guy out! This could be my job at stake :(

Cheers everyone, take care!

you'll probably wake up in the middle of the night once the effects wear off.

That's what I was afraid of. Taking one more then in the middle of the night would probably be a bad idea cause I'd probably wake up still feeling some of the adverse effects. And Xanax would probably be the same right? They seem to have the same short duration of action.
Oh well, I'll see what happens.

Very interesting, I wonder if it's bunk Klonopin. Every time I take even 2 mg it feels equivalent to a 2 mg Xanax bar, which checks out considering they are equipotent. They feel about the same to me, and Klonopin has a slightly longer half-life. You're not missing out on anything if the ones you're getting aren't working as Xanax is just as good, but those are the only two benzos I've ever tried.

Phenazepam is no longer legal in the UK, so be discreet.

"Phenazepam is a class C drug in the UK.
The UK home office banned importation of phenazepam on Friday 22 July 2011 while it drafted legislation, released in January 2012 to become law at the end of March 2012. The bill was quashed following advice from the ACMD as it included two non-abusable steroids. There was a new discussion about its fate on April 23, 2012, where it was decided that the bill would be rewritten and phenazepam would still be banned."

It was eventually banned on June 13, 2012 as a class C, schedule II drug

PLEASE, BE CAREFUL WHEN COMING OFF OF XANAX. It's in our natural instinct to think that we are all the "exception", and that serious things will not happen to us. But they will. I'm an 18 year old girl who takes very good care of herself in most aspects, and I like to think I treat my body with care. I've been addicted to xanax for about a year and a half but I'm doing significantly better now thanks to the SEIZURE I had at Coachella that was a huge fucking wake up call. I was taking about 2 mg daily, no more than that because I smoke weed and that really enhances my bar high. I took a 2 mg xanax day 1 of coachella, and day 2 I didn't take any at all. Around 3 a.m my body collapsed and I began to convulse face down into straight up gravel, rocks, dirt, you get the message. The next morning I woke up with not a single clue of what the fuck happened to my face, and my friend had to gently explain to me what had happened the night before. Apparently paramedics helped me, I threw up and stepped in it, I drove home, all of it I did not remember. That night is taken from me and it feels like a 5 minute night when in reality I had been partying for almost 9 hours. Never, ever cut yourself off completely. Ween yourself off slowly, do not use every day, xanax are the devil. Don't let them fool you.

^^^been there. I currently take 90mgs of temezapm daily. I ran out when i went to visit my son in newyork (as I am in florida) and I found myself up shit creek swimming with my mouth open with a very large cut on my scrotum. I don't remember what happened for a full day but when I was finally able to get a benzo in me I felt right as rain. Fortunately my ex gave me some of her clonazepam because I sure as hell did not want my young son seeing me so crazed out of my mind.

Unfortunately the temazepam is the only thing that works for my OCD.

Anyone have any tips for combating the rebound depression/anxiety that happens every time I take a benzo or barbiturate? I don't know enough about the GABA system to know what supplements or activities might help...if any. I'm not talking about full-on withdrawals after heavy use, but the next-day comedown that happens after a single use.

There are times I need to take benzos (like when flying or going to the dentist) but I can't bear to be that depressed for days after taking one. My doctor obviously thinks I need them, as he offered me Xanax and then Klonopin. When I said I wasn't taking the Klonopin, he gave me Fioricet (which he prescribed for "headaches" but I think he just wants me on a depressant, lol).

I currently take Prozac and tianeptine for depression as well as fish oil, magnesium, B-12 & a daily NSAID. These things don't seem to make a dent in the benzo-induced rebound depression. :(

Not sure what to tell you have you tried 5-htp, be careful with taking 5-htp with other drugs, research what drugs you cant take it with. but 5-htp has worked wonders for me, as well as tuna omega 3 oil.

Rebounding from drugs is bound to happen its just kind of how life works, unless you keep dosing, but then you'd become addicted.

But try 5-htp and tuna omega 3 oil the day after your benzo use, ask your doctor if you can take those with prozac and tianeptine i have no idea if you can and it might be harmful to, so ask first.

^I second fish oil. Supplements generally won't steer you wrong, but it's still a good idea to ask your doctor about it before you try it, just to be safe, as the above user stated.

Interesting that you find depression to be an after-effect of benzos. From what I've heard, benzo use can cause depression. I guess everyone's different.

I certainly wouldn't recommend that you take benzos daily, as I'm no doctor and the commitment very well might be life-long (they're extremely difficult to get off of), which I'm sure you know.

I strongly encourage you to work with a therapist, learn to meditate, and develop other coping mechanisms to deal with your anxiety. Benzos work well, but as you find, at a price.
