There's some genuinely good people there and I get a bit pissed off with the "trustafarian" jibes they get aimed at them. Although that's definitely true of a few of them, who no doubt move on quickly anyway, there some good people who have been there 20-30 years and live a harsh life most people couldn't stand. Lets face it, it's built in a valley that is cloaked in fog for about 270 days a year with rainfall to match.
It's certainly not a romantic life and quite divorced from Felicity Kendall. They get treated like shit in town by the locals and put up with it stoically. They also have decent drugs (and get raided regularly). Yeah, I stick up for them.
