hey iv been on the pipe for about 10 years now i just finished my 4th stint in the can and i just cant get my self hooked on it anymore, guess im just looking for some advise from some people that arnt prison paid shrinks or parole office counselors cuz there useless people that dont know what there talking about.
might help if i tell you how bad iv been on it


i literally love the shit i would rather step in front of a buss then let someone else touch my pipe cuz heaven forbid my gear got burnt. at my worst i was smoking just under an ounce a week. sleeping...almost never, and eating maby once twice a week.
and i wasnt slinging any not one bit i hated the idea of selling my gear lol i wanted that shit to my self.. so naturally wheres a crack head gonna get the money to maintain a habit like that.... i literally would steal anything that wasnt bolted to the ground, i mostly went after gold and jewelry cuz i could pawn it off easily for bulk coin.. the morning i got pinched "before my latest stint inside" i had fallen asleep in a stolen audi in front of a bakery and well got arrested with about 170 charges.. i weighed 54kg i looked like i was from Ethiopia, any way i did 28 months inside got out on a 4 year suspended sentence coupled with 18months parole. i have been clean now for the longest iv been in 10 years and plan to stay clean, BUT it is hard, very hard every night i dream about it.. everyday i think about it all the time and i was wondering if someone that isnt a dead shit government paid counselor that has never even seen the drug let alone used it, can give me some advise on how to get my mind off the shit and stay off it the biggest problem i have is dreaming at night when i wake up for about 5 hours after it is literally the only thing i can think about, if i try distract my self all that ends up happening is i think about how much better the distraction would be if i was fried.. well if anyone out there has any advise plz let me know... maby oneday i learn how to use it in moderation, i refuse to spend the rest of my years in and out of the fuck shit hole qld prison system

The way I see it is what's a bigger need for you? To get high or go back to jail?
Unfortunately there is no easy way to quit. The need to quit has to outweigh the need to get high. Thinking about getting high is fine, you just have to be able to leave it at that. I leads think about it too but I don't give in.
If you were going through near an ounce a week how the fuck are you still alive? That is crazy. That's a 5 digit a week habit easily and to be able to smoke that much in a week you must be constantly smoking a shards. I mean, good quality pure stuff smoked properly, just a gram would last a few days and the gear must have been shithouse man. I'm not writing this to have a go at you but I'm just verbally painting a picture of that habit.
You just have to have will power to not do it any more. That's the only way out. There is no quick fix out of addiction unfortunately.
Why did you start using? We're you a user because you had issues or were you someone who just loved to get high?

Maybe not the best idea but a lot of my friends who've had a problem with meth abuse have quit using cannabis. Meth addiction is very much chasing that contented feeling. Cannabis can definitely provide that same feeling. Obviously everyone is different but at least 2 of my friends who previously rarely smoked buds took it up everyday and quit meth cold turkey. Both became chronic bong heads but it completely replaced meth. I don't know how it works but I've definitely seen it.

hey guys, needing some advice on what to expect from smoking meth, as i plan to try it in the near future. as a long time trawler of BL i know the obvious risks associated with use such as severe addiction but ive decided its part of my personality and who am i to try most drugs and explore the realm of shard. im planning to smoke it in a bowl and try and use it for my writing and personal research. ive dabbled in psychedelics in the past and have smoked pot for a few years, but what should i expect from meth/ any tips regarding the smoking of it? id also consider eating or snorting but i feel smoking will add to the experience.

what personal research or writing is worth risking an addiction to a noxious substance?

if your dead set on trying it, i think its worth starting with a ROA that is less impulsive and more smooth in its onset and comedown, such as eating/snorting

My advice is don't do it. Unless you are prepared to become addicted to it :)

and yeah eat it or snort it first before you try smoking it :)

This on both counts. Not everyone who tries is becomes hooked, but enough do that it isn't worth the risk. Unless your life plan involves developing a meth addiction, just don't touch it. There are plenty of drugs to explore which aren't as addictive and toxic, and it's a huge leap from "past and have smoked pot for a few years" to meth (and smoking it at that, which is much more addictive).

Not to mention that smoking it requires a bit of technique, if you've never done it before you'd need someone to show you how to do it properly or you're likely to waste it.
 
^I'm sure you know this man but you gotta cut off the meth or those panic attacks are just gonna end up getting worse and start happening even when you're sober.

And I definitely should have been having a good power spew. It instead of the opiate way feels similar to how a small shot of heroin feels when your sick I.e I just feel normal albeit a bit sweaty and my stomach didnt even turn(ive been known to spew off half a point. For some strange reason ice makes me throw up)

I'm starting to have an anxiety attack though so it must have done something.

Edit: I can't find the post I was referringtoo but it was the one about the treatment for H and meth

P.s I am so sick of these constant anxiety attacks where I convince myself I'm having a heart attack coz I never know if it's real and I don't have any sequel or my preference xanax or rivotril so I don't completely kill the high :/ the stupid things we do :(

Kick the H - wd's dont last forever - cut the meth way down before you scare yourself into a hole.

Checking in from west coast USA here, must admit i follow this and a few other threads in the AUS section. I'm intrigued by being able to have an inside look at alternate scenes/cultures as well as their defining circumstances. We get a wide variety of stuff over here, and the price is way different, for 10 or 20 dollars you will get usually around the same no matter if it really really good or mostly cut. There's a big "scene" here, high quality ice is all over the place, both domestic stuff of shake-n-bake level quality (not sure if that is how it's actually being produced, or if it's a small amount of ice being cut with a bunch of raw precursors (ie: d-pseudoephedrine/l-ephedrine) as well as extremely high quality (uncut ice) domestic. There is also alot of stuff coming from Mexico (usually not that good) bulked out with stuff like N-isopropylbenzylamine, l-methamphetamine etc that I try to avoid... honestly my preferred stuff to get is either domestic or foreign cleaned up/recrystallized stuff (not sure which level of distribution this process occurs at). Also, apparently Asia supplys alot of the supply coming from Mexico as well as imported domestically. Anyway here the scene is completely different, much bigger and casual with affiliating with each other. Really a curious topic, once you meet the right people I've seen seen super high quality gear (uncut at the street level but perhaps cut directly after production) being offered for what you guys would pay for a half point, for a few grams. So yeah its a huge problem over here. Perhaps you guys have more individuals who choose to report their usage, but it's a HUGE problem here.

Anyway I think the heroin v meth thing is common in alot of places, more or less. Crazy that over there, meth is STILL more cost-efficient than heroin. I think it's more of a thing to do with the longetivity and quality of their effects.

You better off just doing low doses of meth than heroin if you're going to be a chronic user - however if the shots you're doing are big enough to make you vomit then it's TOO much. Listen to your body... A shot where I'm at the point of spewing is usually one where I'd be otherwise extremely physically uncomfortable, dizzy, nauseous, paradoxically sleepy, shaking like I'm walking on the seizure threshold's fine line where stuff might get dangerous for some. If it takes a period of reduced usage or not getting as much of a rush, then it's worth it if it's not literally wearing your body out to the point your body rejecting it like a poison (vomiting). Maybe you'[re not getting as nauseous as I think, or perhaps the stuff here is always cut and you're getting super duper pure gear. Either way think of it like - wouldn't you rather setup a protocol you could follow where you will be able to keep getting high, (semi)-regularly, for a while and thus enjoy yourself thoroughly - rather than burning your body out so quickly.

Interesting to hear g0to, thanks for dropping by it was only a few hours ago today i was looking into all the known cutting agents used to cut Methamphetamine and ways of testing via use of reagents and what you said summed up a few things i was questioning.regarding what the most common cutters are, you seem to say N-isopropylbenzylamine. You defiantly do notice its presence with the shards having a cloudy appearance. We get all types of Methamphetamine here, Iv'e used atleast 6 different batches over the last two months and all of them very different in terms of taste, appearance, melting points and way they for instance would evaporate in a pipe leaving the different coloration between each different batch despite paying round about the same for most of the batches, funnily enough they could all be critiqued so differently despite there similar price and coming from around the traps here and there.

I know im not telling you anything you don't already know but yeah, interesting to hear what you said about meth in the states :)

I don't know why but very small amounts of meth have made me chuck... I think it's a cut coz even massive shots of H don't make mevomit and I've had meth that has gotten me higher than stuff that has made me spew with no nausea. Either that or a combo of nerves & rush. I don't believe I'm a chronic user but it is an addiction. I have one shot every 1-2 weeks. Anyway, I'm going to delete that other post coz I hate reading my spun posts. It's embarrassing bug most of them are made either to prevent or combat a panic attack.

EDIT:I do have an important question. Ihave developed an involuntary tremor/twitch that has gotten pretty bad. People are saying it's meth but I just had a shot and it killed my tremor. Does anyone think it could be a wd symptom?

Your on Meth now aren't you :) Need not worry about embarrassing yourself, i post rants all the time that seem to carry on probably a little too much but we cant be worrying about all the things we expressed through posting in a thread, I used to be like that in terms of the whole anxiety/panic attack "did i say too much" scenario and over time you learn to forgive yourself and care less and less about what people may think about your opinions. Your entitled to one after all :)

Yeah you could be on the right track about it being a withdrawal symptom, sounds likely however i don't really know. The admin method you choose is probably more responsible for tremors occurring as i ingest and vaporize meth and i don't get the tremors you speak of with use only occurring once a fortnight 0.25g. I do look forward to the fortnight turning over for scoring again however if i don't pick up my pipe and realize i have none there won't be any troubles haha.

Your guess is as good as mine :)
 
Apologies to interrupt the current flow of questions/answers/opinions, but something I've always been curious about in the Australian meth climate (obscenely expensive by comparison to the rest of the world) is whether people find that they're upset over their usage or merely the cost at the end of their binge/use? I've found by comparison we're (Australians) generally using quite a lower dosage and total quantity compared to the rest of the world, but we feel it a lot more in the wallet. I wonder whether the primary deprecating factor is quantity or expense, and whether people think they could maintain their usage patterns and not increase them, if the market were to change and mimic the relative cheapness of the rest of the world?

I imagine a lot of people would assume their usage would skyrocket and the cost would be the least of their worries, that they would stay up longer, take more, get more reckless and increase the bleed into their "week-day life" to an eventual greater detriment. A part of me hopes, however, that some people are familiar enough with their usage to manage it and keep usage constant but feel less negative about the spend. If anybody knows any such studies or examples I would be very interested in looking at them anyhow.

I'm glad grams are not available for under a hundred dollars ... I don't have a problem at all in seven years of use. The only time problems surfaced was when I was living in the Cambodian slums and getting gram for very cheap. Coming home to NZ was the only soloution.

If it was at "normal" prices I would be a puddle of goop on the floor .... Seriously ... A puddle of goop, gooping around.

I have only ever spewed once from a shot.
Apparently it came straight from the cook and the dude that gave it to me knew the cook and got it from him. I had 250mg and I spewed about 10 minutes after. It hit me straight away an kept building. The stuff dissolved instantly with 30 units of water. It was clear and crushed. I've never had heroin ever but this shit to me felt like what smack would. My body was cooking, I had huge amounts of euphoria as tho I used all my serotonin I'd ever have throughout my life in one hit, I couldn't stand up, I felt lethargic as fuck, I turned pale like paper. The whole time I felt like a billion dollars but I was repeatedly vomiting for 6 hours and sweating a goo like substance from my body. I eventually had a cone and ten proceeded to have a seizure. My friends called me an ambulance. When I came to I flipped out at them for calling it and then got taken to a hospital.
It was pretty intense but all I remember the whole time was feeling so fuckin high and euphoric. Never went on the nod and it took me about 32 hours after the shot to be able to fall asleep.
Every time I mix up a shot I get the shakes bad u till I have it
