2013-2014 NBA Thread v. AI is officially retired

heres a random question.. I take it you guys watch NBA TV alot? how much do you thing they make on NBA TV? Dennis Scott for example.. what do you think he makes for doing that? He seems to be one of the more popular on NBA TV.

also, let's say your show on TNT, like Mark Jackson once did.. how much do you make? Obv. not as much as you make as Golden States Coach or else he would have stayed, right?

Reason I brought that up is because just now I see that Mark Jackson is finally at 500 (career record coaching) when it comes to winning. Will def be + if he rides out Golden State for many years to come.

SPLASH BROTHERS!

sucks seeing CP3 out; I love watching his game. I think the Clips will def. take a hit from this but nothing significant.

Yeah the spurs gave LA an ass whoopin in the first half today. 70-35 at halftime lol

and oh man what a wonderful day for my bets, also excellent day of football. The kc/Indy game was a classic
but yeah I made 3 plays today and went 3-0. Won big on one of them

what sort of bookie is giving that money on -1 for the half in that suns game. thats just giving it away surely, at what point did you take that? nice winnings though. dont know if i can use US bookies but i get a shite array of bets on nba etc

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post websites here? But anyways, I use bovada.. It definitely has the fastest withdrawls than any other site, and by far has the best mobile betting.. like there is no other site that even comes close.

I have a lot of friends who use 5dimes also. Probably the 2nd best imo, but it's much, much, much less user friendly.

There are other good sites out there too, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The two I mentioned are definitely your best options, and both do accept US players.

you guys dont have local bookies w/ sites? thats the new craze in booking; it's funny. so many illegal sites out there nowadays for peeps to bet through but pay locally though a friend who is backer, or whatever. but the 2 sites he mentioned are good for those betting who may not know people as I mentioned; also good if youre into other gambling habits as well - but stick w/ sports betting; the money is blown in the rest of those other games.

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL BE MVP THIS YEAR?!

TOUGH call here.

I always have Lebron on top cuz I truly think he is.. but I think they will go elsewhere this year? Durant? Chris Paul if they go far? Who else is even there besides Durant and Lebron? Cant say Paul George, way too young.. even tho D-Rose someHOW got that; ill never understand.

Lebron is kind of having an off year though. He's not even shooting 60%.

Seriously, though, I think this is Durant's year.

I'm kind of interested in who takes 6th Man and Most Improved, but I can't find stats for such things. I know that Michael Beasley has has boosted his shooting percentage from 41% last year to 53% this year. That has to be the biggest jump in the NBA. And he's averaging an extra point per game. Very efficient player this year, and certainly my favorite now.

not even 60%, ha. dude, he's shooting high 50's, which is INSANE for someone in his spot; also, you have to realize he's not going 110% nightly; he's getting others involved and letting others play the game; working as an overall team. just look at Beasley this year compared to Beasley of the past? he's even admitting himself that it's Lebron who brought him up a level and helped his game and made him a better player than he was/is. he has that special about him that makes the team better; then again, this is the NEW LEBRON, the old LBJ on Cleve TRIED to have the team help but that team was just SHIT! even going 30PPG 7 and 7.. still couldnt make it.

I actually can't believe that a lineup that simultaneously features Lebron and Beasley and Wade and Bosh actually works! Throughout their careers they've been guys who've needed the ball in their hands, but now they're getting used to moving without the ball. Lebron still holds it for too long on many possessions, but he's evolving.

My 60% comment was sarcasm. There's a lot of people around here who are saying that Lebron's having a down season, but the stats don't really back that up imo.

Bynum to Miami makes a lot of sense right now, and just might happen.

Bynum dropped from Lakers; way to free up cash. he will end up somewhere because SOMEHOW people still see talent, which he does have.. but he honestly dont care about the game. has the talent, but doesnt care. has enough money to just relax and not give a fuck anymore; as long as he does that right, ha.

Miami needs Oden in the lineup come playoff time just to block other bigger guys down there. anderson has done a great job since joining and took the pressure off bosh but once Oden gets in there to they will be that much more effective; if the guys plays right and doesnt just get in the way.

funny how people still PAY HIM just to be around; not even pay. he's just an "IF". ha. you get paid over a MILLION to get in better shape and help your pain. ha
