What is it with that bacon, always see it in the US etc or or is just the UK that is wierd, where there is probally about 1/5 back to 4/5 fat, or is that just how you like it

That's the whole point, that's a grilled cheese sandiwich, the bacon is the bread=D That's the genius of it


Mattronik: Yanks do love their steaky bacon, personally I love steaky bacon, back bacon never really did for me. For instance here in Australia, when I go to the supermarket, the shelf with the steaky bacon has always been raided, like literally a lot of times they have run out, the back bacon just stays on the shelves and ends up price reduced cause no one is buying it.

If they don't have steaky bacon, I don't buy any at all, don't settle for the back bacon stuff.

The fat is what frizzles when you fry it and gives the lovely taste, at least for me. I did use to find this type of bacon in Tescos/Sainsburys in the UK, it seems fairly popular over there too.

that also looks proper nice. ive been on the healthy munch all week, havent eaten much for 2 days, could ruin that thing
 
why do people get in such a fuss over shit like 12/12/12... facebook status updates earlier... ok it only happens once, so does every other date, moment, second, that's how time works, fuck the date

I would tend to be concurrent, IJ. Am very partial to bread so a sandwich made without bread is wrong on many levels. Especially the top and bottom level. However, the novelty of a woven bacon cheese sandwich might just persuade me to forgo the delicious, delicious bread as a one off moment of madness. Perhaps. I would still be tempted to envelop said bacon & cheese tapestry in delicious, delicious bread as it would clearly improve the overall harmony of the creation. And would soak up the grease.
 
I agree Dan, although I did take great pleasure in writing out a red card for someone yesterday, at 12.12pm....It's stupid, I don't care about stuff like that, it wasn't even 12.12pm, it was about 12.18pm, but I felt a need to write it, just so could write 12.12pm, on the 12/12/12....

Old mate of mine went out at lunchtime yesterday, with the sole aim of drinking 12 pints....

Streaky bacon is fucking lush, I know in Spain streaky bacon is the norm, but thats cos they prefer to use the loin part for lomo, either cured, or as loin steaks...bacon is a just a way of using the fatty streaky end of that cut up....I think thats the reason anyway...Here, we are such bacon lovers that its not seen as a waste to baconise the loin part...

Yes, this a million times over, what makes bacon epic is the fat, the meaty part or loin, as MM said is better suited for other uses.
 
Today i will have electricity in my flat unlike yesterday.

This is fukin awesome & i'm going to have a really fun day using my electricity for all matter of fun things . ATM i'm watching the Cricket , soon i will have breakfast.

This is going to be something else , i may even post more on this very forum .

it's 'kin' freezing. and it's too early. the hardest thing about getting out of bed this time in the morning is the cold.
I need a teasmaid thingy so I can have a cuppa as soon as I wake up cos it'll help with not just hibernating under the duvet when it's like this

Gotta say marm, that is an EXCELLENT present idea. I always buy awesome xmas presents (well for the last few years anyway).
Bought my mum a kindle last year and got my sister a sick karaoke machine! Now this:

Have a good day peoples. Think I might treat myself to a narcotic or two today =D First time in over 2 weeks, and don't worry it won't be "2 and 1" from Spike in Hackney or something of that fashion. Something altogether more chilled out and sensible like etizolam and cannabis :)
 
Been out already was not as cold as expected , found one of those "you have saved some money " things that people always discard . Thing is in their haste they have thought it was the one saying "Look how much you have saved " not the one saying "Here have some money off your next shop because we weren't as cheap as the other supermarkets"
If you shop in Sainsburys you will understand :)

Time for the breakfast i was talking about , it just has to be bacon after the bacon porn on display.
