Bean burgers! Just after we were all chatting about whimpy in the drinks thread before! Remember the Bender Burgers as well?!

Bean burgers are lush though marmalade, not had one in time! Thanks for the reminder! Gonna have to get me some of them!
 
Even as a omnivore with carnivorous tendencies I'm rather partial to a beanburger. Am actually rather partial to Quorn stuff too. Even Linda McCartney sossies. If I were ever in a position were veggiedom was mandatory I could probably live with it... but fortunately I can't imagine enforced veggiedom ever being a "thing" so omnivores r us.
 
yeah word shambles but I draw the line at making spag bol with quorn mince though, ain't my thang at all :p

And yeah whimpy is still going postie! It is always empty though:(the milkshakes remain among the best on the planet8oso good!
 
The mince ain't very nice but the "chicken" chunks are pretty good, I'd say. Make a decent enough curry anyway. Half me family are veggies so used to make one of each (chicken and Quorn) quite regularly and would always have a bit o' both.

Also, Bender Burgers *sniggers*

Wimpy are still going but not seen one for years. Not that that's a surprise given where I live, mind. Nearest MuckyD's is 30-odd miles away and they're fukkin everywhere.

I can't remember the burger stuff from Wimpy much, I remember my mum used to have a mixed grill thingy, but we mainly just went in there for donuts n ice cream floats n whatnot.

just polished off the ones I just cooked tho. Asda bean burger with tons of green babyleaf salad, bit 'o mayo and then grated cheese on the top of the burger. yum. stuffed now too. Unfortunately they usually make my bottom sing a merry tune by the morning, so I've got that to look forward to :sus:

Christ, it's less than 2 weeks until crimble day. Not even thought about pressies either. I'm escorting folks to Meadowhall tomorrow, really not looking forward to that one :(

Alright folks .

No electric all day , well from 9am to 5pm & no compensation fukin liberty i tell ye . Not just me either the whole block . I would have thought we would have got a few quid for the inconvenience .

Still at least i had somewhere to go n had a nice meal .

Just curious Mailmonkey if you ever heard of Charles Bukowski, he did a book called Post office all about working in the USA mail service, when I found out you were a mail man I pictured you being like him tbh, all crazy women going on about mail & getting dogs attacking you ;)

. I've wired the gaff to the street light back in the day. This is modern E-On everyone has to have the same provider thing one of the only downsides of my place.

Yeah it was a hideously red sausage all curled up with little nicks in...presumably so it didn't have the chance to unravel and hurt people! I only had it once though, as the wimpy club sandwich really is too fucking amazing. I will shut up about wimpy now!

Yo Brimz, must have been a chilly one! Although it sounds like you went elsewhere, I swear it's minus temperatures the last few days down here.
My Australian passport is whispering to me from the drawer...what's that mr. passport? Go and buy a one way ticket to Sydney? Australia is a much better place to bring up your son is it mr. passport? mmmm well...we shall see :)
