http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=117559 my latest track after a pretty big break i'm still learning. Unfortunately now i have no midi keyboard (dog knocked it off computer tower one too many times :( )

Definately experimental guikid, hard to comment on it

Yea really like with what you've done with the 303 and the synths sounds nicely produced, I reckon you need to sort the kick out abit though, not sure how but it sounds a bit flat, maybe mess about with compression a bit more or make it deeper with filtering or layering a deeper kik over it and maybe reduce the velocity on it a bit. You might want to turn up the levels on the prescussive bit that comes halfway thorugh aswell because you can only just hear it, overall nice work tho!

Yeah i used the dual compression mastering on it which probably compressed the kick far too much. I have a bit of trouble determining how bassy the kicks are because i'm just using headphones.

Like the darker feel your track seems to have now, reminds me of some of this guys work http://shojin.com/music/

New track I put together today for anyones review should they choose to listen,
ambient dubstep, link -> http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=666586&T=9647 thanks :)

ooo that dubstep sound is soooo restrained... I think there ought to be more percussive oddities in there and it would be at home on any dubstep compilation.

Did you know strict dubstep has no melody- just a monotone bass?

I didn't either until yesterday!

I have been making tech and stuff for awhile now, and I just want some critism on some shit. This is some of my latest stuff still in work, just tell me if u like it and what u would classify it as. thanks

I'm not an expert on 4/4, but isn't that something approaching psytrance styles?

Definitely needs width/reverb/chorus effects all over the shop, drums need amping and distorting. Stack up those effects vsti's and see what happens!

Looks like the other one was so flipping unpopular that it fell off the bottom of the board!

this is what I've been working on lately...

Bleeps & Whirrs - Big Bottom

criticisms welcome. High quality version available if you pm me.

thats cool man, is that all you've got done or is there more? i'd love to here beats over that!

shit i only got about a 30 sec clip before, its working now though, very nice tune man!! can't wait until i've got a set up where i can make proffesional sounding recordings/arrangments.

stupid defunct emial adress when the switch happened

http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=120105 Neurotoxin - Asura, new dark psy breaks track i've just finished up after it being the first track i've done from start to finish with the aid of the keyboard. Don't ask me why i did a breaks track, i don't even listen to breakbeat but it just sort of happened ;)
