This is a huge issue in Ice Hockey. We can buy a pair of skates for $1200 here or get 3 pairs for the same price from the U.S.

About 5 years back certain brands stopped allowing their products to be shipped to customers overseas from the U.S. We all use forwarding companies to get our hockey gear now.
 
hopefully, with luck its stays this strong just for a little while, im going to europe next year nd the exchange rate can really work in my favour

www.asos.com and www.urbanoutfitters.com -> for clothes
www.threadless.com -> good when they have $5 -$10 t-shirt sales
www.ozgameshop.com & www.cdwow.com.au -> for CDs/DVDs/Video Games (expect terrible delivery times though)
www.bookdepository.co.uk -> for books (FREE DELIVERY!!!!! Often Amazon is cheaper but the free delivery makes book depository a better option. Best used in conjunction with: www.booko.com.au )
 
Been browsing the US ebay a fair bit, I think I'm going to get a Leatherman too!
 
Thanks Belarki for that CDWow site! The prices are fucking insane, free postage, and actually a pretty good selection of music (had no trouble finding some 80s hardcore that most CD shops don't have). Can't believe I didn't already know about it, just bought five CDs :)

I love Bookdepository too, pretty much best prices anywhere for brand new books and the (free) postage doesn't even take very long considering the books are being sent from the UK.
 
^ Be warned, cdwow often have abysmal delivery times! I had a dvd not turn up once though so they re-sent it without any dramas.

On the other hand I cannot praise book depository enough! Great service and sooooo cheap compared to Aussie retailers like Dymocks, Borders etc!

Edit: ASOS apparently have free international shipping "leading up to" X-Mas.

At $7 each for 4 Nick Cave albums I don't have I'm not going to be complaining.

They've emailed me already to say the've despatched the order, though that could be all lies!

Had a negative customer service experience turn into an okay one with these guys. Shipping was a good 7 days, package was a huge box stuffed with those soluble puffs for my 30cm wok pan.

I also bought 2 Microplanes that disintegrated the first time I used them. The acrylic plastic didn't give at all and cracked at the end of BOTH of them. I mailed them back post paid and got a call today from them. She tried to give me a line about them not being faulty but I made it clear to her they were. I received a store credit and decided to go with the Gourmet series. I'll post them up when they arrive.

The pan is a Tefal Stainless Jamie Oliver and is absolutely fantastic. Worth every cent and hopefully it will last a lifetime :)
