Aint it weird how we all react to the benzos?

I'v taken~4 over the past 4 years and despite being a skinny white boy have a monster tolerance.

I have a box of .5 Xanax but have no pull to take em' Diazepam however!!! give me more more more, it RULES it's just a damn pity it takes so much of the stuff to do anything, like 150mg, and i'm 6ft tall and 60 kgs!

Yer I love Valium and prefer it over the 5 benzos i'v tried:

-Clonazepam
-Xanax
-Nitrazepam
-Lorazepam
-Zopliclone-semi benzo
-Valium AHHHHHHHH-Heaven

VALIUM rocks

Flunitrazepam (Rohypnol)

Oh god, I will NEVER take that shit again. After insufflating two pills of that, 6 hours later I have bits and pieces of memory of sitting on the side of the road near my neighborhood at the time trying to flag someone down to take me home cause the clutch in my car was broken. Woke up after someone apparently taking me home, my dad was pissed that morning. Heard nothing but bad things about that night from my friends. That was about 10yrs ago, and I've passed on ruffies a few times since then.

As far as benzos as a whole, they hold no recreational value for me at all. I love actually physically feeling my drugs, and by the time I take enough benzos to get a body high, I black out. Don't see the fun in not remembering what happened. However, they are great for their intended legal purpose, and for the comedown from other things. They also seem to work well for people in the middle of a bad trip, Xanax is the preferred one for this since it is fast acting. To each his own though. I MUCH prefer opiates.

i heard tolerance is built fast... so maybe if you stop taking it for few weeks, everything is back to normal or what ?
I have been scripted xanak for 7 years now and tolerence seems to never go away. at first i abused them and got to where i was taking 6mg at a time, I tried not taking any for 3 months then my first time dosing again i took 4mg and still didnt feel shit so now i just take as prescribed

It is definitely euphoric for me and very relaxing as well. I tend to avoid the stuff now, and assuredly avoid any type of high dose.

It pretty euphoric for a benzo to me, and is probably still my favourite benzo just because of the quick onset, but I'm finding more and more I prefer the sedative benzos (e.g. temazepam, nitrazepam).

I've always felt tired and in a sort of surreal dream-like state when I take any benzo, xanax included. I wouldn't call it euphoric at all.

I rarely feel euphoric..relaxed and no worries, absolutley. I prefer opiates any day. I also prefer Klonopin to Xanax since it lasts a heck of alot longer and doesn't leave me craving another dose like Xanax doe after an hour or two.

I dont find xanax euphoric but when i first started using them they made me feel drunk and really buzzed but i wouldnt call it euphoric

just took 2mg Xanax for the first time, sure I was relaxed, but sleepy as hell! had a line of coke to snap me out of it, feel much better now, but personally I dont see much if any euphoria with them. Shame.

Kinda. Not really anymore, when i first started taking it, oh lord it was euphoria ++.

But now, it just helps my anxiety and gives me a very mild (depending on how much i take) euphoria. :\

xanax used to be, but now it's not. I'm not gonna bother finding references or proof, but it's my understanding (and experience) that xanax gives a mild euphoria, especially in small doses, but that goes away quickly with regular use. I could eat xanax until I passed out w/o much euphoria, whereas before I could eat maybe 2/3 of a bar and feel euphoric.

It usually is for me, although I definitely have realized that mind set is the single major deciding factor of it. It's almost like I can choose whether or not Xanax is euphoric for me at any given time. And I wouldn't deny a lot of it is probably placebo (which is fine with me, placebo effects rock). I think it's more of me liking the feeling of the stuff, which leads to subtle waves of happiness.. as opposed to dominating drug-induced euphoria that other substances might have.

Either way it's great for so many occasions. Just don't make it a habit or trouble comes quickly..

Xanax feels cold.... Euphoria has to come with warmth, like with Opiates, and among benzos, Diazepam or Flunitrazepam....

But it's still very enjoyable.

Xanax does not produce a potent euphoria like on opioid, but kind of a feeling of peaceful contentment. Benzodiazepines don't cause euphoria. They decrease or eliminate anxiety, which is not the same thing at all. If you're nervous, then the action of Xanax can feel "euphoric" to you, at least to a degree. But no benzodiazepine is ever going to result in the kind of euphoria that opioids cause, no matter how much you do, or how you do it.

Psilo i completely agree with you. Calling Xanax "euphoric" is deceiving. One does not take xanax for "euphoric effects," however, after awhile, the effects start becoming euphoric-like. You take MDMA is feel euphoria, you take Xanax to chill out and relax, which can feel euphoric at times.

That said, however, i have called the experience of drinking a beer, poppin around 2 mg xanax, and smoking a J "Euphoric Amnesia" because it is euphoric no matter how you look at it, and chances are you wont remember much of is the next day. Matter of fact, i might write a report about it right now.

It just makes me pass out and wake up 12 hours later. Im not a big fan of time traveling on benzos.
