Xanax? Is it euphoric to you?

You just feel relaxed and sedated, but not euphoric. Some people seem to misinterpret what this word means nowadays. Euphoria = extreme happiness. I don't remember ANY benzo with this kind of effect. Heroin, MDMA, coke... THESE are euphoric. Not benzos. Benzos are just nice and relaxing. Nothing more. Well, haven't tried temazepam yet, but how much different can it be?

temazepam is less euphoric than alprazolam for me.

but i don't think it's a matter of people misinterpreting the word as rather lack of a use of a better word. for example, if you look at one of those blood alcohol concentration charts that list the affects of alcohol vs BAC you see at a low BAC like .04 it will say something like "mild euphoria". now isn't "mild euphoria" almost an oxymoron since the definition of euphoria is an intense or exaggerated state of well being? what we're really talking about here is a "mood lift". but as far as i know, the english language doesn't have a single word for mood lift, or at least not one that would apply to drugs. therefore, i suggest that when it comes to drugs, we extend the definition of the word euphoria so that it encompasses all chemically produced happiness ranging from very slight to very intense. no benzo in my experience produces an intense euphoria, that's just not what they do. they can produce a mild euphoria (like the feeling you get from a couple of beers) though.

the first time i did temazepam i can truly say that i had an intense euphoria.

gradually, it became less euphoric. But i still find it to be the most euphoric BZD, definitely more than xanax.

Xanax is good, but just makes me sluggish and tired.

temazepam on the other hand, is euphoric.

When ever i do them they dont seem to do nothing 4 me untill i got to sleep, then i sleep for 24 hours or more so i try to stay away from them unless i need sleep

What is Euphoria?

Well, the dictionary defines euphoria as a feeling of happiness, confidence, or well-being. Does alprazolam make me feel any of these, Yes it does. Therefore in my humble opinion it is euphoric. I feel like a lot of times us recreational users sometimes blur the line between euphoria and a high. To me in some ways they are synonymous, and others they aren't. I could have a good day at work and feel euphoria, but I am not high. Does Xanax make me high..in large enough doses perhaps.

I enjoy the effects, but don't find it euphoric, however, I find both nitrazepam and temazepam to be fairly euphoric benzos...take care...

Xanax is good

Xanax can be very euphoric if you take enough. My favorite dose for euphoric is about 6mg of Roche xr chewed up very very tasty snack for any one.

Yea i get slight slight euphoria from doses 2.5mg and higher.

The first time i took xanax i took like 4.5mg at once and i felt fine the next day but the day after i got rebound anxiety that lasted like 5 days, any of you guys get this??

I find xanax a great tool. Makes me calm and relaxed on its own, but I mainly enjoy it for comedowns off meth/pills/acid, I find it highly euphoric then.

Yes, I find xanax and most of the high to medium potency benzos euphoric. I think the euphoria is different from opioid euphoria though, less warm... more relaxing.

The best feeling is combining opiates and benzos... that's a very nice feeling.

My main choice of euphoria has to be opiates but I was just prescribed Xanax XR (extended release). I've been researching a way to remove the XR part, but have had no luck. Anyone else had/have this problem? Or should I move into Temazepam? I have access to both.

I've never tried alprazolam but i would say benzos are not really "euphoric", still one of my fave drugs though...

Still if you consider euphoria to be a feeling of intense wellbeing i guess benzo's can be euphoric, i just associate another meaning with the word.

It all depends on how you define euphoria

xanax is my favorite of all the benzos.

1mg alprazolam + 20mg oxycodone = best drug combo ever imo especially if i've been having insomnia.

like alcohol with less body load, and no hangover. but not as noticeable as alcohol. alcohol is more visible. xanax hardly affects ur vision. its just a feeling of relaxation and lowered inhibition while alcohol is more. combined is best.

works best as an enhancer drug, like the sauce to the fried chicken.

temazepam is way better, most that have tried both will tell u the same. In fact, many who have tried temazepam and a good number of others will often tell u its probably the best benzo.
