Worst Actor/Actress?

I never really liked Richard Gere (I think thats how you spell it)
Mothman killed it for me, he just seemed so fake in it.

Actor - Hayden Christensen

Yes, my hate for him trumps all!! I don't know who I'm pissed off at more Christensen, or George Lucas for ruining Episode 2 and 3 of Star Wars

he also is a real actor....
I think that's stretching it a little.
what i said makes sense if you quote the rest too : "the scope of his acting is limited, but when he stays within it, he's not bad at all"

jackie chan is amazing because, apart from being 10 times more interesting than a bruce lee
Oh no you di'ant.
bruce lee does 2 things. he punches and he kickes
jackie chan does everything

If it wasn't for Bruce, nothing J.Chan did would have ever been realized. Jackie Chan is a clown, while a gifted clown, but clown nonetheless, Lee is an artist who was light years ahead of his time
"i neve wanted to be the next bruce lee. I wanted to be the first jackie chan"

bruce lee made martial art films famous
but there's nothing else that jackie chan owns to bruce lee

yes, he is a clown
whereas bruce lee took himself too seriously

and about been gifted
do you really realize how gifted jackie chan is?
watch him fall on his head in project A (i didn't like this film much)
did you ever see such a stunt anywhere else?

He did a whole lot more than that for me.

It was all about his philosophies on life, and putting the balance back. It was about doing something he believed in. He worked enormously hard to gain respect, and to banish this 'chinky chong' image that was associated with Chinese people at the time. Lets face it, neither of them are/were good actors, but in terms of who deserves the most respect, Bruce will always be at the top.

I used to really like Jackie Chan, especially his earlier movies. But as soon as he crossed over to the US, he sold his soul IMO. All this predictable tomfoolery is old now.

If only he finished it, such brilliant ideas. :(

But I guess, if he did, we wouldn't have had Enter The Dragon. And he may never have been such an international success.

There was also a re-occuring theme of Chinese nationalism in Bruce Lee's films. "We're not gonna let those Japanese/Italians/westerners push us around anymore!"
What made Jackie Chan great was that he was willingness to laugh at himself. He found a niche that set him apart and I say good for him.

i think that jackie chan has a limited span of acting, but that within this span, he's a real actor

many things are old
de niro playing the gangster is certainly not a new thing, yet he still does it well
he's not bad... we're jaded

have you seen how productive jackie chan has been?
i wonder when he even gets time to train at all
so of course, you can't really expect him to keep coming up with new ideas in every scene

on the other hand, how many films get all their material from jackie chan's ideas? (which doesn't prevent some of these movies to be very good)

everyone starts getting older at some point
you can compare with some regular athletes who are definitly not in the same shape as before. but still, at one point they did something so amazing that they deserve respect forever (if you know the name Tom Penny, you know what i'm talking about :) )

even though, they are still some new ideas in many of chan's later films

maybe i didn't see the right bruce lee movies
but the ones i saw didn't have any of the creativity of chan's films

in my opinion, what keeps him on the same level as chan in people's mind is only due to the fact that he was born 15 years earlier and that this gave him the opportunity to be the first one to open martial art films to a wider public.
had they been born at the same time, the difference would be more obvious to everyone

I have to agree with Michael that Juliette Lewis is a shite actress.

However, there are 2 women who have stood out more than most in the history of bad acting than any other. I give you Sondra Locke & Tea Leoni.

OMG. I totally agree with you. I loved Cape Fear and Natural Born Killers bbbbbbut.....I dont think she's "quirky", she's just plain annoying. lulz.

Tea Leoni...good grief. ZZZZZZZZ

Miley Cyrus - fine, she can carry a tune. But she sure cant act.

Lindsay Lohan -- Ahhhh...I loved her in her old stuff...The Parent Trap, Confessions of a Teenage drama queen, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls...after that it was just one downhill slope ...especially in the craptastic "I Know Who Killed Me" and Georgia Rule. Started off so promising as a child actress and just...petered away like a pound of crack in front of a 50-ish looking addict..oh wait ;)

^Whoa, she looks weird there. And I agree, she's not what she once was. :\

I still have love for Juliette Lewis though. Even though she hasn't done anything credible in absolute years. But there are actresses you like because they're brilliant at what they do, and there's the less than impressive actresses you like because of the personality they bring to a film. I'm talking about the Drew Barrymore's, the Parker Posey's, the Winona Ryder's etc. I love all three, but they're not the greatest.

his movies are sometimes funny, we thank the writes for that, but other than that hes ugly and is fuckin garbo - will farrel, oh an vince vaughan really is craptacular too

Worst actress - Mischa Barton. Has anyone seen her in The beautiful life? (What there is of it) She's beyond terrible.

Worst Actors
1. Collin Farrell
2. Mark Whalburg
3. Kevin Kostner
4. Sly Stallone

Worst Actresses
1. Jessica Alba
2. Drew Berrymore (fuckin hate her voice)
3. Jennifer Lopez

i have to co-sign on keanu reeves and nicolas cage. the irony is that these two kept getting casted in huge blockbusters. WHY?!?!?

Hi, um, anybody who is saying Nicholas Cage for worst actor, watch the movie Leaving Las Vegas and tell me the same. While I do think he over does it in some roles, he is definitely very talented and capable of many.

^Yeah, Cage may have elected to be in some really shitty films recently but that doesn't make him a terrible actor. He's been great in the past.

Renee Zellweger & Matt Damon on the other hand are always terrible. Zellweger's face makes me want to punch her and Matt Damon is just retarded.

Harvey Keitel managed to pull it off.

yeah, but keitel also destroyed vampires as a faithless preacher in a dive bar in mexico. he also helped a couple of hitmen clean up after a job when one shot a guy in the face in the backseat of a car in broad daylight, all while wearing a tux and driving a very expensive car.

i dont see cera doing these things, let alone be a badass (and bad) lieutenant on a number of occasions

back to nic cage, if this is the case, then he'd be considered a dated actor just like juliette lewis (whom i adore, lol).
