Worst Actor/Actress?

^Jet Li when he plays a bad guy is quite good. Not so good other times.

Thought of an actor who makes the hairs on my neck stand up through severe irritation. .Jamie Bell

Can't stand the guy & just don't rate him as an actor. I remember when the whole Billy Elliot thing was happening & the wife got a copy ;) I was dumbfounded by all the fuss surrounding him. A lot of people criticized Hayden Christensen in Jumper, but failed to point out how shit this terrible cunt Bell was. :! :X

I think you're referring to Rumble in the Bronx

Bingo. When I saw that movie it amazed the hell out of me. Never seen anyone do some of the crazy shit he could pull off. I wonder if his movie deals involved some injury clause or something. Amazing he never got hurt real bad.

8o 8o 8o HOlY shit!! All his crazy shit took place in the Chinese flicks. You could say he's pretty smart because he's taken mostly to comedies once he passed his 'stunt' prime. He's not the funniest cat around, but he works well with Chris Tucker and Owen Wilson in my opinion.

I'm usually a live and let opinionate kind of guy, but Jamie Bell as worst actor? I think the kid's great! He was great in The Chumscrubber and Undertow. I haven't seen all of Dear Wendy, but excellent also. He was the only thing in Jumper worth watching, too. So, boooooo to your chioce, CletusVanDow. Boooooo, indeed.

^ cletus went off him when he spotted all the obscure technical errors in his ballet dancing in Billy Elliot. ;)

he does seem to be rather a strange target for such animosity though. but then again the only film of his i've seen is King Kong, and i don't even remember him in it. :\

Jennifer Connelly annoys the fuck out of me, along with the majority of "Requiem for a Dream"'s cast.. But check out her acting debut in Argento's "Phenomena", it'll provide a good laugh.

and despite how much i respect Dario Argento, his decisions in casting, along with his storylines, have just gotten worse over the years..

i hope to god that "Mother of Tears" doesn't suck (but it probably will)

Well there are a lot of decent actors that are just annoying as hell. Nicholas Cage as the OP mentioned, tries too hard to be cool

Keanu Reves is just a dummy

I think Adam Sandler got better with age. Didn't like most of his SNL or Bill Madison, but I liked the more sarcastic style over the just dumb, yelling shit

Patrick Swayze: what can I say

I could name a bunch of them that are just flat out annyong...

Have to mention my favorite movie character ever. I'm not usually a big Val Kilmer fan, but his portrayal of Doc Holliday in Tombstone was classic!! I've never seen someone play such a convincing role. When Dennis Quad tried to play Holliday in "Wyatt Earp" a year or two later, he couldn't even touch Kilmer.

Val Kilmer is highly under rated, his characters have all been amazing in

Top Gun--Iceman
Heat--Chris
Willow--Madmartigan
Real Genius
Doors--Jim Morrison
Tombstone
Wonderland--John Holmes
The Salton Sea

Orlando Bloom. He was "ok" as legolas, but he has sucked royaly in every movie since.

Ya know, I'll concede that Val has some talent. It's just that I find it impossible to like him personally. Every interview I've seen him in, he just comes off as a smug jackass.

^Oh yeah, I agree. Just about every interview I read some director or other actor is talking about him being an asshole on set.

I remember this film vividly & was an utter load of bollocks where he was at his most annoying. He always has this look of wanting to be a hard man. What can I say, he just doesn't do it for me. :\

^At least he can take the piss out of himself (money was probably a major factor!). Anyone remember the Orange mobile phone cinema spots. Dunno if you got them worldwide, but they showed them here in Britain.

ahahah! :D

the macaulay culkiin one is even funnier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF8OaonT7d8&NR=1 =D

but this one is the winner - Darth Vader: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGgM61WVPVU&NR=1

but back to Orlando Bloom - he was ace in the uk episode of 'Extras'.

Amazing he never got hurt real bad.
on the contrary.there are no companies which accept to assure him anymore.

jackie chan is amazing
because, apart from being 10 times more interesting than a bruce lee, he also is a real actor, not just a martial artist who's trying to act
the scope of his acting is limited, but when he stays within it, he's not bad at all

plus, he's jackie chan
so any critic is futile compared to everything he's realized, created and performed :)
