Whats the first symptom YOU personally have that lets you know youre starting to W/D?

....and for some reason I have to pee like every 5 minutes. One time I was going to pick up while I was kicking & I had to pull over like 4 times just to pee.

Yeah! I've noticed this as well... it's weird, but I suppose that it could have something to do with the urinary retention and your body bringing its natural functions and faculties back up to speed, so to speak.

Depression

Funny, I was going to reply to this thread yesterday with the same response pretty much. I know I'm withdrawing from pot or opiates because I feel like crap and it's as if nothing can lift my mood except more of those drugs. For weed it comes on about 24-48 hours after my last dose, and for opiates it comes up about a day after a binge ends (binge meaning being high two or more days in a row).

My first symptom is my legs going crazy. I want to stretch them out, I wanna bend them, I wanna curl into a ball, I wanna stretch them out again. That RLS is a bitch for me. Also that dull feeling in my head/brain. Not a headache. It's hard to describe. It's like I can feel my brain throbbing from lack of opiates.

This just happened to me for the first time the other day. Once I hit the 24 hour mark I started peeing every 10 minutes. I guess it may have happened before, but I attributed it to the clonidine that I was taking to help alleviate the withdrawal symptoms, but the other day I didn't take anything for the withdrawals.

The only time I think I experienced opiate withdrawal was when I was given pain pills after some major oral surgery. I just remember that I quit taking them one day, and that I felt irritable and lethargic. This prompted me to take a few of the pills I had left, which completely fixed my mood. That scared me, and I haven't messed with opiates since.

I do get the runny nose when I come down off of an amphetamine binge. I also get itchy eyes. It reminds me of when my allergies begin acting up in the late spring.

Never knew about clonidine and urinary retwntion. Given i dont know much of anything about it apart from it alleviating symptoms and it being presctiption only here. Interesting.

I always start to leak like a siv around that 24hr mark as well after my last hit of morphine. Then when keeoing the fluids up there in i almost empty immeduately after as if ive been drinking beer all day.

Yeah, I have to piss like crazy in withdrawal. Super annoying.

damn right it is.

ill finalky get into a comfortable place blanketed by valium n weed, laying down still just chillin watchin tv or whatever and allof a sudden it starts and just wont stop.

and its pretty vital to keep hydrated. so as youre pissing youre draining yourself so you top up. rinse n repeat haha.

though its much more bearable than running to piss out the other end every 5mins and rawing up the hind in the process.

Impending sense of doom, an overwhelming feeling of desperation for money, cold layer of sweat on my face (noticeable) and body, especially my arm pits, skin starts to crawl and feel hot, back pains become unbearably uncomfortable, major anxiety and restlessness, suicidal depression, and my bowels start to clear out.

i haven't been addicted to anything in a while but when i was drinking and eating benzos a lot when i started shaking (very minor at first, progressively shake harder) basically i knew i needed a pill.

IMO this is like torture and the worst part of physical WD (well that and afraid to leave the area within 10 feet of a toilet for fear of crapping myself). RLS is so bad because I can never relax, no sleep, can't sit still. I can be exhausted and have to continuously get up and walk the block, pace around the house...something. and then I when I feel so physically exhausted like I can't take another step, I lie down and it starts again immediately. I hate it.:(

I have never had the peeing thing happen before. Of course I am probably so dehydrated from diarrhea and vomiting and not feeling like eating or drinking that I probably don't have much urine to eliminate. And my skin and all hurt so bad that to me it is miserable to have to even sit down on a cold toilet...

Uncontrollable cold sweats and a running nose. Even when those things comes on naturally now, I start freaking out about withdraws. I think my body had completely forgotten how to regulate its own temperature.

From opiates (which are my personal favorite doc) A runny nose and cramps/back pain and a general sensitivity to all that is painful and unhappy
