Whats the best drug combo of All time ?

Heroin. Best combo ever!

(Sorry. My lame attempt at being funny.)

I will say there was one time someone spiked my (probably fent) with ice, and I went and banged it. Thought they screwed up and gave me pure shit or something. (I had never done ice before that, haven't done it since that short stint ended.) Scared me a bit. Hit me like a brick wall. But after I settled down it was nice. I even asked for it a time or two after that, but after that third day of no sleep I knew it wasn't for me. Sleep is too precious a commodity.

I was 24 years old, had a serious kidney problem and surgery. The only drugs I played with at that time were MJ, LSD (suagr cubes, blotter etc) and mushrooms. So it was my first experience with something "heavy" like that. I was in the hospital 3 weeks and getting hit up every 6 hrs post surgery. I was weaned off because I was having horrible withdrawal problems. Mostly evil, ugly, scary hallucinations. I was losing my mind and thought it was going to be permanent.

I wondered about it too (Demerol) and after I wrote that comment I looked it up online. It's rarely if ever used now as it had a ton of bad side effects (so it says) I've never had any opioid exprience close to it. It was more trippy-like...as I mentioned it felt like I had no body. It was the most wonderful experience ever. No visuals or LSD reactions really, just total bliss. And I've tripped probably 100 times or so (back in the day), synthetic and straight plants, mushrooms, peyote etc.

It was some freakyass stuff. It was much like a Near Death Experience and like the videos I watch. I was def 'at times outside my body - floating and saw a silver glowing cord attached to my body laying in the bed. At times my soul/spirit would slam back into my body. It was violent and disturbing but I still felt ok. I'd cycle on and off like that on a regualr basis. Some readings I've done call that Astral Projecting. I think thats a proper description. Maybe I was on the edge of death? back and forth multiple times?

Iirc demerol can increase risks of serotonin syndrome. I'm unfamiliar with the pharmacokinetics at play that could cause that, but I wonder if they're related to the experience you had.
 
All opioids can cause SS, but some clearly more than others (e.g. tramadol). There are even case reports of therapeutic doses of loperamide causing SS by increasing peripheral serotonin which reaches the brain.

During my experience with SS, I couldn't focus on anything CEV or spiritual, I felt like I had taken the most fucked up stimulant drug ever invented and was enveloped in a world of symptoms and anxiety.

May I ask, do oxycontin also cause SS? Are we talking the same thing as people get when coming off of SSRIs? If you're saying yes then that's worrying. Os it just a very similar det of symptoms or is it actually SS? How would I know that I'm suffering from it? TIA.

Ps. If you're taking an SSRI as well as opiates can this either increase the chances of this happening or make it worse?

Yeah, six amps a day.. the doctors were naive back then. Mind you my Dr was a realist as he knew if he didn't give me that script I'd buy street drugs that might be cut to fuck, although back then they were suite pure, just so many that could be lethal still on the market and easily available.

Today I'm prescribed pregabalin 300mgs every twelve hours. We 60 mgs of oxycontin s/r and 20 I/r oxynorm for breakthrough pain. I rarely take anything else. Well maybe the odd pipe, but not often.

Some may say naiev, some may say educated/realistic as you said.

I believe true harm reduction would allow a person to obtain whatever substance they required/wanted, just under some sort of regulation.

You only have to go back to about 1920 and nothing was illegal and society wasn't falling apart back then, the war on drugs has done far more harm than the drugs themselves ever would have had they been available to all who desired them, if they were provided alongside education/support services and those who did decide to avail themselves of said substances were not treated as second class or morally bankrupt, which of coarse created an us against them culture that has only grown stronger over time.

In my eyes the authorities saying, yes these substances exist but Joe public may not have access to them is nothing other than fascism.

edit...So doing some research on cocaethylene and reading the wikipedia article, it indeed confirms the fact that consuming cocaine while there is ethanol in one's blood creates the compoound cocaethylene which lasts longer than cocaine alone and is indeed stronger, however I came across the little tid bit that said that cocaethylene has an 18-25 fold higher risk of sudden death than cocaine alone, to which my wife replied....I wouldn't mind dying if I was toasted....can anyone argue with this logic.lol.

Yeah it's way worse for your heart than cocaine / alcohol taken alone

But a lot of things mentioned in this thread aren't exactly as healthy as an organic salad either
 
I don’t know which one is the best one as there Are certainly a few, here are some:

Opioid + tryptamine/lydergamides: a lovely calm and Trippy feeling, always liked it. The only opioid that doesnt work so good for this is Kratom.

Dissotives + opioid: had this one once only, great. I had a solid dose of dck and then some 2-methyl-ap237 on top. This is a very lacklustre opioid on its own but with a disso it was enough to provide a great relaxed state for hous. Really blissful.

Alpha pyrrolidino ketones (a-pvp, a-php and the like) along with some benzo in a bubble + ghb: really relaxed feeling.

Dissociatives + serotonergic halucinogenes: always a great high and a lowered chance for a Bad Trip.
 
While I don't recommend mixing these together without prior experience with one of the two substances, mixing a heavy meth binge with a dose of acid is in a class by itself. First time I tried LSD I was on day three and the experience was life altering.
