Goals are great to work towards, but right now with work, study, the household and the baby i'm content if i can just maintain the gains i've made in the last 12 months. That and i've already built up a great momentum. attempt4, you're so right about the hard part is starting. PI, that sounds like my wife, if i'm antsy from not going to the gym, she tells me to vacuum 
I used to train at my parent's place, had a basic bench set up, a bar and some dumbells. I live in a city complex with fairly new gym equipment in it, have lived in such a place for several years, however i find i get significantly greater outcomes in a proper gym. The combination of free weight (predominantly) and various machines, and occasional bodypump class works a charm for me. I only wished it had a boxing/kickboxing section. Oh well, i have a heavy bag up on my balcony and summer's coming
