What new (or old) game do you love?

^ Spookily enough that was the last game I acquired on me lappy before it died. Read an interview with its creator in Bizzare which made it sound very appealing. Gonna give it a bash if/when I hit up the boy Knock to patch-up me bebuggered lappy.
 
If you install DNT+ (Do Not Track), it stops Facebook from watching which other sites you visit. You'd be surprised how much it sees. Even when Bluelight loads, you see Google analytics pop up, at the bottom. With Ad-Blocker+ and DNT+, you should be quite safe.

Zelda was definitely one of the best games ever.

I finished Tomb Raider, a week or two ago and Far Cry 3 the next day. I may have already said. Amazing games. I'm going to finish Borderlands 2 next, as I've been playing it for about six months...

So now I have that installed I can ditch this cookie killer guy & Facebook etc won't follow me about?

On topic - I'm still slowly playing my way through Far Cry 3 & loving it. Excellent game. I think Tomb Raider will be next, once I've finally finished with this & can pick it up cheap second hand.
 
PTCH i thought you said you thought far cry 3 is shit?

completed it last week, loved it

hitman absolution is wicked as well. tomb raider is supposed to be really good as well might get that soon
 
I used to spend hours on end playing Champ Manager.

Won the premier league, scottish cup, league cup, and champions league with Celtic.

Cant even imagine having the spare time to play that game again. I was planning on downloading it to my iphone at Christmas time when I had leave from work, but got caught up with other stuff.
 
Crackface: I'm not sure about the cookie killer, but DNT will stop Facebook tracking you.

We all seem to be on the same page here (pun intended) about which games are the best. Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider and Hitman (which I've not yet played, but my kid LOVED it). The Batman games are good, and Borderlands 2. Has anyone played Dead Island? I've got it here, but just not had the chance to play it yet.
 
I remember being at a mates flat all on loads of pills (back when they were 5+ for a tenner but still decent) playing Rez for fucking AGES. Then all of a sudden as if by some magical force the 5th level appeared, didn't know it existed, but we must have either got a good score or just played it straight for so long that we unlocked it. Not a great story, but at the time! Collective brain melt :D

Didn't rate Dead Island much. Only played the demo though. Not a patch on Left4Dead anyway.
 
I'm guessing so, I've now got a wee icon up near where the Ad-Block button is, click it & it tells you who's trying to track you & how many sites it's blocked them from doing so. Facebook is aaaaaawww over me, stalking me everywhere. It's blocked Facebook from chasing me around 10 sites this morning, I've not even been on 10 fucking sites!!!
 
I used to dig these old Helicopter games on my Mega-Drive. They were like top down things, coptering about firing on ground forces etc. Used to play on a little portable telly so I'm sure these games would look better now. I remember one was called Urban Strike, another Soviet Strike. I often check out Xbox downloads in case one of these appears for a quid!

I also still love the original Crash Bandicoot! I havent got a newer Sony console so I occassinally pull out my old PS1 (the little one, remember) & have a run round as Crash, the inexplicable Australian Bandicoot. For original PS1 games, little beats Wipeout though! My hippy mate drug dealer got lent a PS1 when they first appeared coz some guy was in debt & I went round two days in a row & just spent the whole day swooping round in anti-grav racers. On the next night I DREAMED about it constantly so me &my gf at the time went into Dixons bought a new TV, a PS1 & of course Wipeout to go with it. My days of modern gaming had begun.

Lets go WAY back. I used to be the local hero on that dreadful old Arcade game "Pole Position"! Doubt there are many here old enough to remember that! There was one paticular arcade I visited in town every day to see if anyone had usurped my position at the top of the league. If SAM wasn't at number 1 I'd feed coins into the damned thing until I was on top again! Sometimes, SAM was the only name in the top 10 Lol I was a bit obsessed with that truly crappy game! I had a thing of Space Invaders & Asteroids at the time was well, but another firm favourite was Excevious, a top-down space shit battling thing, bombing stuff on the ground & strafing incoming fighters. Cracking game which I was since downloaded on the 360 & still enjoy. The music is irritating as fuck though!

At the mo I'm working my way round the enviroment in Forza Horizon. Never got on hugely with Forza in the past but this slightly more Arcadey version is a great gas.

Top games! Desert Strike was the original one if I remember correctly. Loved it.

Talking of arcade machines, anyone remember that fighter jet one where you were strapped into a big fuck off machine which spun upside down & shit as you were flying the plane?
