What new (or old) game do you love?

Game companies are always ripping off musicians. I've heard some particularly shady stuff about Sony. But what can you do? The money's in the adverts, not in games, I think.

Brian Bloodaxe is my favourite game EVER!

Altered beast - commodore 64

Midnight resistance - commodore 64

Two stone cold classics

Beatmania IIDX.

If you don't know what it is, IIDX was a music game for the PS2 created only in Japan. It's easier for me to post a video of it than it is to explain how the game works, so here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7J2R1j4j9A

Despite being incredibly difficult, it was actually a load of fun.

Ah Beatmania is ace, got the first one for the PS1 and the controller to go with it, not played it in yonks though. Not played IIDX.

Altered Beast was great yeah, remember my Mum's mate's kid having it for some console or other, I'd have only been about four or five then haha.

anyone remember Little Big Adventure?

damn that thing got me hooked while i still had my Cyrix 6x86...

Ya. LBA was good times.

Around the same time I bought The Neverhood which IMO is one of the all time best, with lush claymation graphics, great pacing, memorable scenes:

I love Soul Caliber 2 on my trusty PS2

Counter-Strike is still up there, not got PC at then moment, but getting a good one soon.

No one old enough to remember double dragon 2 player arcade machine lived pole position too
Never played it on an arcade machine but I've still got it for my NES! :D

At this moment I'm downloading the PS1 roms for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (I was a badman at that way back when, but suspect I'll be shite now 8) ) and...

You can get up to 400kph+ AND drive upside down in circular tunnels! =D I only ever had the demo too so I'm well excited lol (that's how sad I am) ;)

Mickey Mouse - Fantastia, and some kind of McDonalds based game on the MegaDrive. Woeful games, seemed a bit weird at the time, but playing them in hindsight (sober), kind of a little bit freaky and 'trippy'

On the topic of megadrive games... Sonic 3/Sonic & knuckles with that weird cartridge locking mechanism, still one of my favourite games ever. I miss 90's gaming! Very much feel like playing it on low dose aMT to see if it makes it even better! :D

I used to play a lot of System Shock 2.... was the first immersive game i ever played too.. heck i used to dream about it after i stopped playing...

Lol at Mountains of Ket... :P
