What kind of shape is your body in?

I'm rocking the crackhead skinny not an ounce of fat but still got some muscle look. Like matey from die antwoord! I'm going to have a word with my financial advisor and just be like....'look give me £10k because I need surgery and I'm skint', need to find out what's happened with this year's dividends too.

Just stood on the scales for the first time in about a year because I know I'm not going to like what they say. 11 stone 7 ......could be worse though I was much skinnier about 4 months ago, must have been short of 11 stone.
 
You're a tall one owen :P Over a foot taller than me in fact...

I'm easily the smallest I've ever been, no idea exactly how small though because I refuse to own a pair of scales. I'm obsessive enough as it is :P

Nah man, no amount of eating can put fat on me. It either gets converted to muscle if I'm training, gets burnt off or just magically disappears if I'm not training. No amount of food will make me fat, I can easily be consuming 4000 calories a day and still have the same body fat ratio.

Fuck all these special diets, you just eat less and move more if you want to lose weight (or eat more and move more if you want to gain weight). No carbs in your evening meal, just meat/fish and greens. Multivitamin, max strength fish oil, glucosamine everyday. 100g of protein within an hour of any workout.

Actually, eating more can be good for weight loss. You cannot burn fat without glucose as a pre-cursor. Basically; you need carbs to burn the bodyfat off. More energy = more fat burning.

As for your supplements, all of which are healthier to consume from well-planned meals.

And wtf 100g protein after a workout? The body can't convert all that to muscle, you'll end up storing a lot of it as fat. Best to have 50/60g 1 hour after a work out, and then another meal with 40/50g couple of hours later. Protein digestion is a very slow and gradual process. Even the fastest absorbing proteins are still only released at a rate of about 8-10 grams per hour.

Theres a few people i know that dont think protein is very important if trying to build muscle... and dont really care too much about what they eat... so stupid.

Gotta be seriously fucking retarded to think you can build muscle without protein. Perhaps they are referring to strength? It's possible to get considerably stronger, without eating any excess protein.

Lol....angry man's here again.

I'll take a pic of me now and post it sans muscles if you want.

Those are about as far away from beach muscles as you can get.....no pecs, you can't see but really limited traps and lats, no biceps. That's all functional muscle. It's also not very 'ripped', still probably about 13% bodyfat going on there.

for the record I'm very similar to you.

I'm a fighter also, so had a similar physique... I think I posted in the pic thread when I was drunk the other night, then deleted it when I woke up and thought "wtf am I posting!"

But recent months haven't been able to train.

I've gone from a lean, myofribrillar dense 11.5 stone... to a shockingly bad 11 stone 10"... really need to do something about this shocking weight gain.
 
You should know they aint no beach muscles then! The 'lifters' look at someone like me in that condistion and weep but given 30 seconds of physical activity with most of them I would have been beasting most of them just through cardio alone. Nothing more fun that wailing on a tired muscled up guy=D

I've gone from a solid 13st of no quit to 11 stone 7 of fuck all. Hopefully now I'm clean again I can get back in shape, shoulder needs mending though, also cannot train.
