What is your current supplement regimen and why you use them

Bacopa 200mg 2xday
Ginkgo Biloba 60mg 2xday
Gotu Kola 1900mg 2xday
Rhodiola Rosea 500mg 2xday
Ashwagandha 900mg 2xday

I've only been on this regimen for 3 days, but I've noticed significant reduction in anxiety, increase in concentration, and an overall healthier feeling. I'm hoping it will assist me in weight loss and sleep also. If anyone has suggestions on dosage or better combinations, please let me know.

bump because this thread deserves a bump=D

-complete multivitamin
-1g L-tyrosine: helps keep focused, gets rid of that morning 'fog' and i guess it stimulates ur metabolism?
-B Complex: makes the L-tyrosine more bioavailable

night:
-magnesium citrate: helps relax me
-1g taurine: this also helps relax me, and its got a ton of health benefits too
-B6: makes the taurine more bioavailable

I ordered Krill Oil for my DHA/EFA which should be arriving in the mail any day now! :)
Also I use:
1. powdered clacium, magnesium, and vit d supplement
2. complete multivitamin
3. powdered green superfood which has pre and probiotics, digestive enzymes, sea greens and algaes, and powdered grass juice and berry powders in it
4. additional digestive enzyme supplement usually with badly mixed protein/carb combos
5. TONS of fresh fruits and veggies
6. LOTS of organic yogurt
7. I now add free-range, organic, omega-3-full egg yolks to my smoothies; I believe this in particular has helped me b/c three weeks ago I was slightly anemic and now I am not!! =D
8. Tea with lemon every morning (not the green kind; the brown kind- I know this is a bit less healthy than green, but tea STILL has antioxidant properties, right?) Plus I make sure the tea has cooled off to a certain extent before I squeeze/add the lemons, which are GREAT for you!
Hmmmm I think there are more but I can't think of them right now! What do ya'll think? :)
Also, has anyone here tried maca?

^^ I get more stamina throughout my day.... but the BIGGEST difference, is that when I run out of Adderall early I don't crash and burn nearly as hard..

Probably helps ... I didn't gain much weight this last "holiday" i had w/o adderall (i took two weeks off) .... normally I gain about ten pounds ... So I'd say its good if you're trying to stay slender

in order of importance:
fish oils (too many benefits to list. Usually 3-4g daily)
MV's (1 to 1.5 servings per day, always cheap vits but proper ratios)
caffeine (obvious)
aspirin/apap (obvious)
magnesium (RLS, muscle tension, etc)
melatonin (1-1.5mg, sublingually, taken as needed for inducing sleep)

FWIW, most supplements are garbage. I've sold and taken most anything in this thread and ran a retail store for many years doing this. Feel free to ask me q's or pm for spec's on anything ;)

Sorry if this is a little simplistic, but when supplementing fish oil, what is a good dose of EPA and DHA?

I've read in a few places that it should be around 2-3 grams daily of 'fish oil' BUT are they referring to fish oil in general OR the EPA/DHA content??

The capsules I have contain 1000mg of fish oil but works out to be 180mg of EPA and 120mg of DHA.

^ i take piracetam... the only thing risky about it ; is the quality of the manufacturer . . Like I get mine in bulk and you're supposed to take about 1-2 grams of the stuff. It is made in China? fuck that

its recommended that you get at least 600mg of omega-3 (EPA/DHA) per day.

thanks - so thats in combination? for instance, 360 of EPA +240 of DHA? or 600 of each?!

Except for pure DHA pills, most seem to have that exact ration of 180/120. There's no generic baseline, it really depends. With omega3's, in essence you're adding fatty acids the avg person doesn't get enough of, so that's going to make your diet, size, and metabolism all factors. I typically recommend people to take 1-2 minimum daily, and never really thought of a maximum lol, personally I take 2-6/day depending where I eat my meals.
((and just to be clear, 1000mg fish oil typically contains total of 300mg epa+dha, but there are double strength/concentrate formulas, dha-only, etc.; also, all omega3's are not made equal, the omega3's in fish oils are great, they're multitudes better than, say, ALA<alphalineoleic acid>, which is an omega3 from flax seeds))

I wouldn't recommend getting junky piracetam for that very reason, the raw size of the dosage - although I've only messed w/ it once or twice and I know it was some chinese-import w/o reg's so I'm not in a spot to talk ;P
I actually want to try it again, if it hasn't been mentioned already - most take piracetam w/ a choline supplement (no need for AGPC or super-expensive forms of choline, simple 'choline bitartate' will do)
