Here’s the most important thing to note about
yohimbine: it must be taken in a fasted state
(like in the morning before breakfast). The
problem is yohimbine and insulin compete for
the same receptor sites. Yohimbine will always
“lose” to insulin. So taking this supplement
along with a meal, etc is a waste of time. You
may have success in taking it pre-workout, since
your blood sugar would drop as you train. But I
still say your best shot is taking it in the morning
in a fasted state. The yohimbine/caffeine combo
is especially effective for fasted cardio sessions.
so to me personally yohimbine is very timing dependent. might work well for low carb (atkins) diets or keto diets or for your cutting time. also works nicely as a performance enhancer for males too
