I used to drink quite a lot of Morgan's Spiced when I was younger with coke.

These days if I wanted spirits I'd have a neat Whisky or Whisky Mac.

Morgans Spiced Rum is lovely :) - Every now and then I like a Bombay Sapphire, loads of ice lime/cucumber lemonade etc

Used to love Sailor Jerry's, but they changed the recipe and apparently it's shite now. Bought some spiced rum down south somewhere called 'Nelson's Blood', which was pretty decent.

Favourite though has to be Woods 100 - overproof in a rich, raisiny way. Not tasting like petrol (Wray and Nephew, I'm looking at you). Amazing in a 'Dark n' Stormy'
 
Never tried that Bear... not awfully fond of gin.

Oh there is one other spirit based drink I am particularly fond of... Caipirinha.

I have no idea about Rums. I got a bottle of this 'Spiced' a few years ago free thanks to a duty free promotion when travelling - not something I can buy locally so it feels like a treat when we get a bottle.

I think Gin is pretty vile - Bombay Sapphire is different (still gin I know) - long drink over lots of ice its lovely. Cachaca :D so nice in a drink.

I'm not a rum bugger myself, but I can (could) appreciate a decent proper rum if somebody else is paying. Though I must confess that one particularly bad example set me down the road to borderline alcoholism after being dumped years ago:

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be drunk or used in some sort of UKIP eucharist ceremony. Tasted good all the same.

To clear, it had a picture of Lord Admiral Nelson on the bottle, not Trevor "twice as nice" Nelson.
 
I've heard that Our Nige prefers to perform that particular ceremony with brandy anyhow:

All this talk of booze is making me want a drink. Shall I risk four months of abstinence for an overpriced bottle of whisky that I'll inevitably drink in my bed while listening to maudlin music? Fuck that.
 
I still enjoy doing that.

I'm drinking some Polish lager or other. It says Debowe Mocne on the front and it's 7%. Three cans and a spliff had me passed out last week. Got to be something in this other than booze :sus:

Just under a tenner for 8 in the local offie but that'll do me two or three days.
 
I know what you mean about Debowe Mocne - it was a favourite of mine for sleeping. Apparently Special Brew contained valerian at one time, so you never know!
 
Haha that's what it feels like ya know. Seriously I have a big tolerance to alcohol but these are like benzos in a can. Long shot here, but seeing as you know what I'm drinking, have you ever drunk a Polish lager that tastes like pomegranate? Was my favourite drink when I spent a lot of time down in Gloucester but never seen it up here and can't remember the name, it being confusingly Polish and all.
 
For real, it was fucking lovely. Only seen it at the corner shop my mate used to live near down in Gloucester. Can man about a four pack til it gets too sweet but before that it's bliss.
 
White wine + lemonade. Made a banana milkshake earlier with ice cream and marshmallows in. I fucking love milkshakes man. Also had a cream soda at a cafe earlier, mmm. I think I prefer unhealthy drinks to unhealthy food tbh.
 
Yeah looks like my kind of thing, I'd down that in seconds. Sudden craving for one of the Burger King milkshakes now, it's like drinking ice cream but they are lush. I like the KFC krushem things as well.
