Get that here. Wrapped in wax, no? They do a range of fine cheeses that I occasionally acquire when on offer. They are bloody pricey at full-price though :!
 
Yeah, wax is the word I was looking for. And expensive, that's another good word. Particularly when I'm quite capable of gulping the whole lot down in one sitting. Love cheese, love cider, hate my cholesterol level.
 
Am glad I don't have the balls to get my cholesterol levels checked yet :D

Also a big cheese fan. They sell those particular ones at me local Spar. They are a local company after all. Cost £3.50 a pop, from memory. I couldn't/wouldn't manage a whole one in one sitting... but they don't last long :!

Some of the other ones they do are also great. Think there's a chilli one and a garlic/herb one too, from memory anyway.

Stay away from Gps then. They are mad for statins atm, trying to put every fucker in the country on them from what I can work out. My cholesterol is 5.2. Normal, or 'good', is under 5. I have no problem with the odd .2. They do. Because 'good' for a diabetic is under 4. I'm not diabetic but they think I am. Had two consecutive tests for blood sugar of 7.2. And two consecutive tests over 7 equals diabetes type 2 in their eyes. Since then my next three blood sugar tests have all been under 7. So that just proves how stupidly arbitrary the diagnosis is.

Shouldn't complain, get free eye tests.
 
PS Thread title needs changing to what you drinking/what cheese are you eating/ how's yer blood sugar/cholesterol.

SHM, I'm in the same position re the diabetes. I had a 7.9 and a 7.5 so was diagnosed as diabetic. All HbA1c test have come in around 6.0, which is in the "beware of low blood sugar" range. This is despite me consuming much more sugary shite than I should for a diabetic.

So I've heard. MamaSham got diagnosed with high cholesterol and diabetes a while back and doc was pushing her towards statins. She refused cos she's a homoeopath and disapproves of such things. For once I think she was right to do so. Horrid things from all I can see. Big Pharma's wet dream though: a drug you have to take forever once started on 'em and pricey with it :\

And the GP is in utter disbelief that she's doing better sans statins than expected to do on 'em. Just changed her diet a bit is all. Still got shitty diabetes symptoms, mind. Lost several teeth in the last few months so is looking like a right fat chav.
 
Tea. Not drunk tea in ages but got no coffee left so tea it is. Is some Polish brand MamaSham gave me a coupla boxes of a while back. Very small, round bags. Very weak even though I left the bag in for ages. Looks like this Polish one's a double bagger.
 
I'm drinking white tea - found a box of it the other day and its quite tasty. It's a mixture of tea, elderflowers and sunflower petals.

Drinking lech pils here
certainly not gay, its the 5.5% stuff, unlike Lech Premium that is 5.2%

Its even ungayer as I swigged a load of cordysyl mouthwash beforehand, not the daily 0.02% shit but the hardcore 0.6% stuff. which has an aftertaste that tastes that is as ungay as you can get
Shit is like painstripper for your mouth and taste lingers for the whole day, which is a shame as you have to take it twice a day for a month

Nope, but the Smirnoff bit does :)

I quite like White Tea, bit hard to stomach unless I drink it after a meal.

Kinda on a Rooibos kick thesedays, tastes great and with summer round the corner its one that makes a really nice iced version.

Back on topic im currently drinking this, one of the better mainstream lagers that you can find at your local polish store...
