Thats the only version i get now, its brilliant on a baguette. Heavenly !

The solid version isnt as good thesedays, I like the Bavarian Bergeder cheese though . Its a good alternative.
Bloody cheese Junkie here. Love them all. the stronger and more pungent the better !
 
I noticed that the solid version is always a lot drier than it was a year or two ago. It seems to taste less creamy and a bit "bluer" if you will. I'll definitely check out the Bergeder if the recommendation is coming from an old-school St Agur fan!

Got around to sampling that t'other day. Was gooooooood %)

Currently pondering a walk into town for booze. Have drunk two half bottles of cheap Scotch and 3l of generic "Strongbow" so far this week. Is less than usual but still far too much. Is probably a Bad Thing to buy more cheap cider. Partly cos even the four quid is an unnecessarily frivolous expense these days, partly cos my tolerance is kinda high so is kinda pointless unless buying bulk, partly cos it's a shitty drug anyway, and partly cos I managed to lock meself out me flat (again) last night due to forgetting me keys onna booze 'n' baccy run and don't trust myself even close to 100% to not repeat the schoolboy error 8)

Should go for the Knockshake option. But will probably end up going the booze route now I'm thinking about it :\
 
Our Co-Op has changed the Westons offer from 2 for 3 quid, to 3 for 5 quid.

Any other Co-Ops done the same?

Drunk 2 litres of Lidl "Cidre de Normandy" or whatever it's caled today. Very good cider. Only 4.5% though.

So starting on the Westons now. :)

Okay. I already told him once that his username offended my stomach. I once bought a crate of Coors Light as it was on offer, it was those shiny silver cans, where you have the Rocky Mountain logo that turns blue when the can is cold enough. Man did they taste like shit, I had some speed that night and was just drinking it to slow my heart rate. Still remember the taste as it was so shit
 
Caved so am currently quaffing Gin & Juice. Although the 'Juice' is Roninson's Fruit 'n' Barley (on offer ferra quid) and the gin is cheapo 37.5% shite (also on offer). Lacking the 'indo' component, sadly. Did ask when drug fairies were in the area but nogo. Small pleasures, in small measures is not to be sniffed at though. So I sniffed a rather large measure of ket that was offered instead. Bit of a spinnyhead situation has arisen.

Drinking red wine, due to the fact that I shot my entire script into my arm in a week flat, just like always....

Going to have to move up to whiskey, methinks. Tolly too high, heh.
 
My fave cheapo bourbon is the Lidl one. Called "Golden Turkey" or summat like that. Under a tenner a bottle and is identical to Jim Beam (my fave bourbon of the (sadly limited :()) ones I have sampled. Think TLM mentioned that it actually is Jim Beam - made by the same people and identical in every way sans label and price. It certainly tastes the same to me.

Currently drinking el cheapo generic Co-Op "Strongbow". Dirt cheap and not half-bad considering.

Yeah, that one. We have another in Wales called Black Bomber or something stupid and that is the best. Comes in a round black packet at stupid prices so don't buy it as often as I'd like.

Snowdonia black bomber. Tescunt sell it apparently. Might be cheaper than my local butcher. Now google tells me.
