Used to live a stones throw from the Oval in my squatting days, Bonnington Square near Vauxhall tube. All my scally mates lived in the flats in Kennington where you get a grand view for nothing from the roof and hanging out the windows. That was us.

Hahaha, those flats look cool.

I'm in the Barmy Army, so it's quite easy to get tickets. Would love to do a whole tour (Sri Lanka then Aus would be preference).
 
Got too drunk Saturday night and didn't make it to the County Ground the following day for the West Indie thrashing, or so I heard.

Scotland had me worried for a moment this morning, but big Jesse Ryder came through for us. eDDe9, are you only allowed to pick Brits and Aussies for that team? No Kiwis at all? Ryder, Taylor, McCullum, Vettori? For shame!
 
The scoring system is a bit odd on this so I try to keep my teams made up of only around 3 countries. If its too much of a spread then I'll score fuck all.
 
Is 20/20 cricket actually cricket tho ? Apart from the rules & equipment being the same it seems the idea of the game has been inverted or something worse - I just can't think of anything worse coz I've just woken up.
 
Hmmm....I used to hate it, but I'm quite enjoying it now - it's not cricket as such, but it's bringing a different set of tactics and techniques to the game, which I'm quite enjoying. Mike Selvey had a good article about them in the Guardian yesterday (not going to link it because I don't want to see the scores from yesterday's football games, which I'm downloading at the moment).

I'd hate to see test cricket decline any further, it's still my favourite form of the game, but I'm starting to come round to the attractions of 20-20.
 
The first innings of 20/20 is shite, and the game only becomes enjoyable when there's a tense run chase.

With England being so shit at it, that too is another reason for me to distance myself from it.
 
I saw highlights today and if you like six hitting as the only aspect of a once subtle game then fair enough it's OK for that but there's a lot of skills going to be lost if 20/20 becomes predominant.

Test cricket is where it's at IMO.
 
Enjoy it for what it is and don't compare it to Test cricket.

I watched 3 games yesterday whilst recovering from fridays fun and games, and it is perfect hangover/comedown viewing. And just enjoyed waþching us hammer the Pakistani's.

Test's are obviously what cricket is really all about, but for me T20 is better than one-dayers.
