Wretched.

James Faulkner, the bowling allrounder, will make his Test debut at The Oval on Wednesday and will bat at No.7 as the Australians search desperately for a way to end their failed Ashes campaign on a high. Faulkner and Mitchell Starc have been included for the final Test while Usman Khawaja and Jackson Bird have been dropped, and the batting order will be reshuffled to feature Shane Watson at No.3 and Brad Haddin at No.6.

Haha it was a great days play wasn't it ? Felt a bit sorry for the umpires mind as England would have said the same thing if the boot was on the other foot.

3-0 will do. Won 4/5 Ashes now, seems unreal when growing up as a kid watching some of those teams we had in the 90's.

Still, we created the beast and India - being a one sport nation - all of a sudden took it seriously once they won the '03 W.C.

They don't call it Test cricket for nothing ! You could play a T-20 and some of the team, even as much as 75% of the players would not even feel like they had played, even though they were on the team sheet.

I actually forgot we had a game on until I read your post TLM.

It's like saying 5 a side football is better/more entertaining than 11 a side football.

Fucking BCCI ! I will never watch 'cricket' again if they kill off Tests.

Shame the current political situation between India and Pakistan makes a Test series all but impossible atm, as it could be such an iconic series in a ideal world.

Shame the security situation in Pakistan - post the awful attack on the Sri Lankan team bus a few years back - now makes them the sports 'Gypsies' :(

But they haven't said they'll use snicko instead? (Which is meant to be better)

Sachin's retired. Or will after two tests against W Indies in November bringing him up to 200. Well played sir.
 
IMO snicko is better , reviews are gonna be important as we saw earlier this summer.

Sachin was one of the Greatest in Tests n One dayers , a good bowler as well . I salute him
