Depends on your age and how dodgy you look, I think. You'll probably be okay though.
 
Dont bother trying to get anything inside, just be inventive and turn up about 10, sniffer dog seems to get tired right near the end.. being nye though could be chaos.
 
I wouldn't even bother trying to get yourself inside, to be honest.. It'll only be full of drunk tossers anyway. ;)
 
are whp and other big clubs like Fabric, etc, full of people on md etc? Cause the club here that used to have a massive md scene (80% of the people there would be on md, meph, and to a lesser extent ket) has now become much more drunk, coked up and angry. In fact I got kicked out for gurning too badly there, the bouncer said 'not that kind of party anymore mate, we're cleaning up'.

And I miss the atmosphere of a room full of people all mandied off their tits, dancing all night. Can't beat it. Really wish I was alive in the 90's.

I tried a freeparty once as I thought that would have a better atmosphere but like 80% of the people there were on loads of ket, there wasn't really any unity, just people stumbling around fucked.
 
I avoid big clubs for that reason.. the last time I was at WHP it was to see the Prodigy so was probably not the usual crowd, but that was all about the booze with a bit of coke and ket, as far as I could tell. The little nights I go to (particularly trance and old school) are still plurfests and much more fun.

What bit of the country are you in, hex?

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but Im going to be attending victoria warehouse for a upcoming gig. I was wondering is the security still as tight as it was late 2013, or has it slackened off? Do they still have sniffer dogs on patrol etc?

Not been since WHP moved out, but I wouldn't worry too much. Just been confident, and walk past. Stash well, as my mate got "caught" by a dog, got a good search (waist band, socks, shoes, pockets wallet etc) by 2 doorman, and then let go.

Cheers for the reply, yea I noticed WHP moved into town. Cream + Composit seem to be hosting most of the big house nights at Vic. Warehouse now. Thanks for the confidence boost, I can't imagine the security will be much different, most likely the same private security as before.
 
Went to the same venue (Albert Hall) for a Bonobo gig and there was no security. There isn't really space doggies anymore as the venue's so central..

Edit: Looking back at this 3 months later I have no idea what the fuck I meant there. ^ Woo for space doggies. =D

Excited for the return to store street. Smaller capacity but better venue imo. Came up to it 3 years ago as an impressionable underage teen and had an unreal night.
 
Oooh, interesting news.. shall investigate. Somehow I thought it was staying at the Albert Hall permanently. But that would have been a stupid idea.
 
Store isn't the original! Great venue though. Only for 1 year, then they are moving to the masssssssive old train depot thing near Picadilly Gardens
 
Ooh blimey, I really can't keep up. I've only ever been to Victoria Warehouse and Albert Hall as I usually prefer littler venues.. may well check the new one out at some point this year, though.

First one was the old Boddingtons factory! Store street is ace really, defo going to get up to at least 1 show this season
