Warehouse Project

Hi all,
I was wondering has anyone been to WHP since it moved to store street this September? Is it worth the trip from London? Avoided it last year due to the deaths and subsequent heightened security and accompanying hassle, but there are some cracking line ups

It was at store street before it was at teh venue it was at last year, voted as the best venue by the clubbers thats why its moved back there. Its smaller, so less ecurity, still undercovers, dogs and what have you.
 
Can anyone tell me how strict security are when inside the venue? I'm getting a flight down next month so I'd rather not have to bring my own supplies.

Fuck that.

Not a big fan of clubs on the whole but fuck going to something called the warehouse project alluding to the ilegal party scene and then paying £25 to worry about undercover cops and dogs. I'd much rather just go to a squat party.
 
Yeah, I live pretty close to it but would generally prefer to gnaw my own ankles off than go WHP.. it's usually overpriced, cramped, hot and full of security and drunk dickheads.

On the other hand, some of the acts that play there are incredible so often ends up being an alright night. Just not *amazing*, which is what it should be..
 
I went to see David Rodigan a few weeks ago and it was one of the best WHPs i've ever been to. Minimal dickheads, security weren't too bad either. Searching people who looked like they were fiddling with their wallets etc but nothing over the top.

Were there many dogs there? Off to WHP on Friday for Caribou/Four Tet and would really rather not buy there.
 
If it's the same dogs that they've used for years, then they've never paid any attention to me. I think they're more decorative than anything..
 
Ahhhh my boyfriend has baled on me saying he 'doesn't really fancy it'. Do you think it would be ok to go as a single female?
 
I'd go for it, but I would also stay quite a bit more sober if I were on my own. Expect to get a lot more male attention too.

Well.. people do and they usually don't die, but it's not something I'd do because I prefer to buy high quality goodies that are good value and are definitely not going to make me feel like crap. ;)
