Hi, everyone. Sorry if this isn't the best place to post this, but after searching around the forums a bit, this seems to be the most extensive ULDN thread on Bluelight. I've been researching ULDN for a while now, but unfortunately it seems that there aren't many firsthand experience reports out there. So I thought I'd share mine here in case anyone else out there who is in a similar position might come across this and find it helpful.
For context, I'm an IV heroin addict who has been using on and off for years. At this point, I've reached a level of tolerance where I'm considering getting and staying sober because it doesn't really seem worth it for me to continue using unless I can find a way to make ULDN work for me. I'm just not getting the desired effects from the drug anymore, and the habit is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with for rapidly diminishing returns.
I tried ULDN for the first time yesterday (6/2/2024) using a slightly modified version of the method described in the OP. The only differences were in some of the equipment I used: a 500mL water bottle instead of a 2L water bottle and a 1mL syringe instead of a dropper. So the math for me was as follows:
I dosed the naltrexone orally at 12:06pm. I didn't notice any withdrawal effects from the naltrexone. I waited just over 30 minutes before injecting 50mg heroin at 12:40pm. My usual dose is about 150mg, which at this point doesn't really do anything but keep me well. I didn't notice much from the 50mg dose, but I did feel better than I did prior as some mild inter-dose withdrawals were beginning to set in since it was my first dose of the day. It may have been a bit stronger than what I would have expected from only taking 1/3 of my regular dose, but it's hard to say for certain.
About 15 minutes later (approximately 45 minutes since dosing the naltrexone), I injected another 100mg heroin which felt equal in strength to, or maybe even a little stronger than, my typical 150mg dose. I suppose this may have simply been due to the cumulative effect of the 50mg + 100mg = 150mg combined doses, but it honestly felt as if I had injected the entire 150mg at once. I'm not sure if this was maybe because the 50mg dose simply wasn't enough for me to properly appreciate the tolerance reduction, or maybe the naltrexone took a little longer to kick in since I dosed it orally on a full stomach. Either way, I plan to experiment with increasing my naltrexone dose in the coming days to see what happens and hopefully figure out what my "sweet spot" for dosing is.
In conclusion, although the results of my first attempt at ULDN weren't as dramatic as I had hoped, it does seem promising. I'll post an update with any relevant findings after some more trial and error.

50mg naltrexone pill = 50,000μg nal total
50,000μg nal / 500mL water = 100μg per 1mL
1mL = 100 units on syringe
100μg nal / 100 units water = 1μg per unit
5 units nal solution = 5μg* nal
*I decided on 5μg naltrexone as my starting dose based on what I read in this thread and elsewhere online. I dosed the naltrexone orally at 12:06pm.
