True opium powder from poppy seeds..

I meant IN the seeds, and it's just from personal experience making seed tea using warm water. After shaking up the seeds in water for 20 minutes and filtering out the seeds you're left with this white milky colored liquid that is pretty hard to drink because it tastes nasty (and I don't have a problem drinking pod tea). It's the fatty acids from the seeds.

Yeah if you leave them in too long your tea will taste like the cooked poppies in poppy cake. "Milky" is a good way to describe the taste. It doesn't taste like milk per se, but I'd imagine that that is how most would describe that unique taste.
 
I see what your saying.

There is no need to soak seed for more than ten minutes, tops. And NO HOT WATER should be used.

The alkaloids are ON the seeds and are very soluble in water, or in the OP's case isopropyl alcohol.

I really hope this process is proven to be effective, because I don't know if I can handle drinking this stuff anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I love my pods and the beautiful high...but goddamn are they vile tasting.
 
I only did it twice and just opening the packets to the seeds made me dry reach. Hate it that much.

I did it. The alcohol took forever to evap and a little water was left. A sock is a BAD FILTRATION DEVICE about 10g of seeds got through when squeezing. I used 500g of seeds and got brown gunk like the OP. I ate about 3/4 of the brown gunk on an empty stomache about an hour ago. I am not high, waste of time.
 
Poppy seeds are totally hit or miss, the only way to know is to do a bioassay(drink it and see what happens).

Just find the cheapest sources you can and give them a try, when you find a good one then do this extraction if you want to. Its kind of pointless however, but it seems everyone is obsessed with having opium.

Oh and if you can't find PS for $3 a pound or under you'd be better sticking with pods.
 
Never bothered going out and purchasing seed for this purpose, due to the hit/miss aspect involved.

But, its very worthwhile, if you got seeds from plants you have grown or seed from dry pod.
 
SO, is anybody else going to try swims tutorial?

Swim is looking forward to seeing people enjoying this tek and adding on further purification ( figuring out what the excess part in this powder is..like leaf material or what not)

Look, any vegetable product can be powderised. Paregoric/Laudanum is powered opium in an ethyl alchohol base plus flavoring. I powderise opium manually via mortar and pestle. The whole point of this nonense was two-fold:

First, this forum is not for dicksizing. Second, noone will be able to buy powerised opium in kilo bags for 20 US OR Canadian, anywhere on Earth. Even costs more in Laos on farms so forget it.

As for doing it, you can do it quite easily. Convert opium to puddy. Let it age, then simply put into a motrar and bang for 4 or 5 minutes and it has a consistency of talc.

Seeds sometimes have a residual coating, always almost when grown yourself and uncleaned, and can be powderised as well so that you can make a fair tea, albeit heavy on the GI because of the fats and acids. Ideally smart people would use gradient screens but if you do hope to ingest as many alkaloids as possible you should use seeds in your tea.

I realise this is a separate thread and respect that but this is interrelated.

Last I heard a kilo of opium(I don't remember if it was cooked and dried) goes for around $350(on avg.) even in Afghanistan.
 
You dont need to powder the seeds to make the tea. As mentioned there is just a residual coating, so you just put the seeds in water, give them a good shaking, leave to sit for 15-20 mins, strain the liquid out and drink.

I was wondering could one use cleaning alcohol in the extraction? I know they put methanol in the alcohol to render it undrinkable but if you evapourate all of the liquid there should be nothing nasty left in your product.
 
^^ I would imagine this is true, though I would probably feel safer using non-denatured ethanol, such as Everclear, or even 100-150 proof vodka or gin instead.

It would also mean that the oleamide would be released as well, which has sedative properties due to its interaction with cannibinoid receptors. Since oleamide is present in many forms of oils and fats, one could infer the conjection that could possibly be the agent resposible for the pleasurable effect of eating fatty food. (?)

Mix that with the fact that this is a brand new poster and I think we have a fake. Just my opinion though.

No, that is not cinnamon. I don't post useless shit.

This method worked for me, don't criticize it without trying it first.
