Why would you want to contaminate the lovely taste of straight weed? I can rip a cone in one hit easy
Why would you want to contaminate the lovely taste of straight weed? I can rip a cone in one hit easy
^ Theres a good deal more reasons than just that.
If someone offered you either for free which one would you take?
I'd take the volcano, then i'd sell it and buy a brand new extreme Q :D
then spend the remaining money on as much weed as i could afford with it.
^ Theres a good deal more reasons than just that. Honestly, I have never seen anyone pull down a cone half the size of straight green that almost every daily mix smoker would routinely be able to do. Sure it is easy to rip down a standard sized cone or a bit bigger, but the slower burn and increased harshness of the smoke means that you just can't get the smoke so concentrated and therefore can't get the same volume of smoke in your lungs.
I can smoke MORE weed in one hit of a cone that is 40% or a bit less tobacco than I could in a cone of straight weed, so I don't really see how if this is the case one would be 'watering it down'. I have always thought that tobacco would increase how quickly you felt the effect of cannabis because nicotine reaches the brain quicker than THC and then increases your heart rate, which presumably pumps the THC in your blood to the brain quicker. It definately seems like it hits faster to me when I smoke a mix, but perhaps it is really just the head rush of tobacco keeping me entertained till the green comes on, who knows.
Wow you must really be impressed with it. How often do you go through bags and are they easy to replace and customise?
. if you can't be bothered relighting the joint a couple of times then you are pretty fucking lazy. also, the fact that it doesnt burn very well without tobacco (i still find it to stay lit the vast majority of the time) would actually SAVE you weed - it doesnt burn when you're not smoking it. anyone who smokes a pipe (tobacco) knows that patience is the key to a nice smoking experience.tobacco makes it burn better
- i think you will find the problem is you are addicted to tobacco. tobacco addicts take massive drags because they need that nicotine. conversely, thc doesnt need to be gulped down so desperately, so just take smaller puffs. you will still get stoned. plus your lungs will love you for it. it should be noted here that i read a journal article once* detailing how fast thc is absorbed into the lungs. turns out like 80% is absorbed within the first second of inhaling. so holding the smoke in just fills your lungs with shit, not more thc. that's why when i smoke, i breathe out almost immediately. no tar for me pls. (*source long since forgoteen, im sure you could find it on google scholar within 5 minutes if you tried)I seriously melt through joints with bacco but straight green I end up choking every puff, do you just have to get used to it or?
- see above. also, there are LITERALLY THOUSANDS of plants that can be smoked, and those are just the ones with psychoactive effects. choose another one! (see below). also, if you really like that nicotine feeling, but want to smoke less tobacco, look into lobelia and cytisus. these plants, both smoked by traditional peoples of the world, contain nicotinic agonists, similar in effect to nicotine. you can probably pick them up cheaper than tobacco (no tax), they have no additives like tobacco does, and they might somehow be healthier. also you can grow them with ease and legality (it is illegal to grow your own tobacco in australia without a licence).When I roll straight green the jay almost always dies out and I have to keep relighting it (small issue), do you have to chop it finer?
I've also noticed that a cig or some twist straightens me out a bit, when I have straight green I am all muggy and off the planet but when I chuck in some tobacco or bang a cig after I get a more clear headed stoned. Is that just how it is?
I think I was originally told that bacco helps conserve the mix and went with it, true or false?
I want to drop the tobacco (I'm a pack a dayer) from my life so if there is a way to help transition easier I'd appreciate the advice.
have several friends in this boat - what it equates to is a polydrug addiction.re: addiction, SO many people get addicted to tobacco by smoking it with cannabis. that association going on in your head must be hard to shake off.
@Mr.Blonde
Sucks your brother isn't doing much, how old are you and what is your area of profession if you don't mind me asking?
I have seen other people do the same thing as your brother, it can take awhile to break the habit. I've always found that the less work you do, the harder it becomes to do anything. You put all tasks off to the next day because you always have time to, normally boredom kicks in sooner or later and people realise they really need a job. But weed definitely makes you feel okay to be bored. It's a prick of a habit to break in that sense. Perhaps speak to him more in general about what interests him and best ways to get towards it. I've said to many of my friends that direction is the most important thing, it's what makes us work towards something. You can balance drug use or even abuse but unless you are working towards something it gets harder and harder to do so.
