The vitamins and supplements MEGA THREAD.

Awesome! Thanks hun :) Do you think it helps with hair-thinning as well as strengthening the actual hair shafts?

Whilst I try to eat a complete and balanced diet, I sometimes falter. To supplement, I take:

- Nordic Naturals Omega 3.6.9 - <3 this. A bit pricey, but well worth it IMO.

- Garden of Life Living Multi, Optimal Women's Formula - found this to be the best multi I've ever taken.

- Magnesium Chelate.

Tried 5g's felt something but nothing major. I guess a massive alprazolam tolerance doesn't help. Probably beneficial for people that don't take benzos & don't have a big tolerance to them.

Apparently the difference is quite subtle, but present. I was doing some reading on a social anxiety forum about it, so maybe do a google search - there were quite a few people sharing their experiences with Taurine.

1.25-2g Aniracetam and/or Oxiracetam
1.25-2g Chloine
Small linesworth of CQ10 (yellow powder of and orally)

I drink Monster, Rockstar engery drinks too. Tonnes of diff teas also.

Oh yeah and fish oils.

Good stim-free or low stim PWO?

i'm interested in a good stim free pre-workout. i'm thinking about buying bulk l-citrulline, beta-alinine, creatine, and l-glutamine for this. with a protein shake and maybe some BCAA tablets to chew half-way through. i usually lift for about an hour. and add a stim on days where i'm particularly tired. any input? also don't buy yok3d, fucking stupid, rip-off product. it worked but 40 dollars or whatever was ridiculous. i'd prefer recommendations of pure ingredients to mix together rather than rip-off proprietary blend brand name stuff.

for all the people who take milk thistle:

i assume you are taking an extract. is it from the plant or the seed? just read that plant extract may act like estrogen, while the seed extract does not.
dunno about the relative health benefits of each though.

what is your daily dosage?

i alter between not taking any vitamins/supplements to taking a once daily men's vitamin, vitamin C, vitamin E, and fish oil (though i don't think i've ever actually taken the recommended 3 fish oil capsules per day)

Vitamin D can really help with strengthening hair. When I started taking D my hair growth increased so much I went from needing a haircut about every two months to needing 1 every 3 weeks. I may have just been deficient, YMMV, but if you find your hair significantly slower growing or weaker in the winter when you are getting less sun there is a good chance it could be vitamin D related.

I personally have a few additives in my daily routine, they all have several other benefitial reasons to eat them however I will highlight the ones I use them for. Please correct me if I am wrong on someone:

Cacao powder, 100% pure
This powder contains alot of anti-oxidants, dopamine, serotonin and alot of tryptofans. It's a battery recharder for your body in general.

Bee-Pollen
Together with a fully packed nutrient bomb it also contains all the B vitamins, for people doing psycedelics it boosts your recoperation by alot so if doing say LSD where you need say 12 days for fully recharging you can do it in say 5 days with this. I also find the comedown from MXE being so much better if ingesting some bee-pollen. Supposedly it boost serotonin rebuilding.

L-Arginine
This is something you would like to use on a daily basis, it's anti-oxidant packed and rinses your body. It will flush your veins and make them good as new. Be warned however, that this is something you do NOT want to be using while partying as the detoxing properties of L-Arginine makes your body temp go up and all kinds of inside crap are being sweated out. No need to make the trip extra annoying, but do use this during normal days.

L-Arginine is a god send when detoxing your body!

Juice - made of pure red beet
After visiting the health store I was loking into the different special juices available, and ended up with a few extra ones. This one has some nice properties. Rich Source of Vitamin C, Rich Source of Betaine and has shown to reduce high blood pressure. All in all this juice is very nice for your blood vessels.

Juice - made of pure sellery
Supposedly a very nice gift for your kidneys health, lots of other benefitial treats with sellery juice. It's very alkalizing so it equalizes the body's PH which is important for peak health. Celery leaves are high in vitamin A, whilst the stems are an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C and dense in potassium, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and essential amino acids.

Juice - made of pure tomatoes
Recent studies have shown that their anti-oxidants are extremely stress releaving, so a glass of tomatoe juice each day should be on everyones diet.

Hemp Proteins
The hemp proteins have 12 amino acids packed which our body needs but cannot make themselves, to me this sounds extremely handy. I usually add some of this into my protein shake!

Goji Beans and Caco Nibs
Theese are boths some small snacks you get in your health store, atleast where I live. Theese two combined at your table during partying and you have yourself an erergy packed snack full of nutrients and anti-oxidants. Goji beans being the most energy packed beans in the world, and cacao nibs having all the benefits from cacao. I always have this at home, however I have become lazy in remembering eating them - shame on me!

Caco Nibs by them selves does not taste good, thats why you mix them with the goji beans which also doesnt taste magical. However the taste is more than OK combined, and given the benefits of them you will soon appretiate the taste and good feeling it gives you.

++ Royal Jelly ++
This is a good one, it is know to stimulate the growth of neural stem cells and glial cells in the brain. I like to think we burn some brain cells during tripping, so when it comes to rebuilding them why not give them some extra power - royal jelly! Again this has alot of extra benefits aswell, but this factor alone is all I need to know for eating it every day.

Magnesium
I know that for atleast amphetamines magnesium is good to supplement your body especially beforehand and I would think during aswell, since the body seems to burn magnesium while being under influence of amphetamines. When googling dopamine and magnesium however I do not get the same clear answers, as it seems to be something of an unclear matter if people should add magnesium. Also sleeping problems seems occure if taking magneisum before sleep. I know magnesium is usually good for you so I have started taking this aswell until told otherwise.

Great tip, thank you! :)

Does anyone take bee Pollen in place of a typical multi V?

That's what I did, I would suspect this being a very healthy change as the Bee Pollen is so much fuller of everything than multivitamins. I would like however to know how much is "needed" in a day, Im guessing eating to much bee pollen is not that good either.

Great tip, for this reason alone I would like to add some D into my diet. Remember that vitamin K2 works hand in hand with D.

Morning: he shou wu, shan yao, cordyceps, rhodiola, chaga, astragalus, and sometimes I'll add Chinese ginseng (ren shen) if my vital qi is low but I explicitly avoid American ginseng because it's too cold in property for me.

Night: oyster shell, schisandra, white peony root, red reishi, licorice root; sometimes I'll add a bit of medjool date or lotus seed for a bit of sedation.

The morning formula raises the yangqi, or active qi. It's how I start my day without the side effects of caffeine. The night formula enhances the yinqi, lowers the yang qi to calm the mind, and is better for sleeping. The night formula is more adrenal.

In terms of nutrients, I get most of them from foods as I don't find my body processes multi-vitamins properly. I eat a lot of lightly steamed raw veggies, hemp hearts, sesame seeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. I include some fruit but it's less important to me, unless it's summer time and I need more body fluid. I'll eat an average serving of meat - usually chicken or fish - every couple of days but it's not as crucial to my metabolism.

I'll also take a dose of fish oil and vitamin D once a day with a big meal for absorption.
