In other news, I have been officially single for 3 years and 1 month, today.

I met someone who is everything I like about boys in general but I really, really like being single. I wish I didn't like the idea of being a crazy cat lady so much.

there were many things said on saturday night/sunday morning. that im not going to be held accountable for...

if i cant remember saying it... i didnt say it...

how he remembers it is beyond me...

maybe it was one of those things we remembers like, having to feed our little friends elephant that morning.
 
I have a thing for older women and quite often I click well with them but they immediately become repulsed when they find out my real age. They seem to think I'm 30 until they actually ask me. I need to learn how to lie better.

This happened last night. I decided to go to Ivy to see what the hype was all about and started chatting up a 35 year old. We hit it off. Then she asked me how old I was and I told her the truth. I ruined any chance I had. I wasn't that interested so it's no skin off my back but it's something to consider next time I go there.
 
I picked up a 36 year old about a month ago. She thought I was 33. Ha!
 
I suppose the smile and nod technique works in situations like that. Even my 30+ year old female friends condone it.

I agree. I click better with older women also. Well, they don't have to be old, just psychologically mature. I find it hard to find common ground with people that can't hold an intellectual conversation. I can tell it isn't going to work when the discussion goes from Continental Drift to a brand new handbag. But alas, I have a partner now who is willing to listen to me ramble on. This is probably why I like her, the ability to listen can overide the ability to fully understand.
