I thought I was the only one who thought this kind of stuff! :)

You never know....

I found it amusing that after 9/11, the Patriots won the Super Bowl, had an off-year, and then suddenly powerhoused their way into another Super Bowl following the war on Afghanistan and again following the war on Iraq.

Coincidence or conspiracy, it's amusing nonetheless.

Personally, I'm glad that Tampa Bay's off to a 4-0 start and atop their division again. :D

Mike Patterson...2-time collegiate champion. ;)

So I guess it was nice to see Alex Smith get in some work last night. I would've prefered not to see Rattay play what might've been his worst game ever. I don't think the Niners crossed Arizona's 30-yard line on offense all night. Thanks to the D for putting up all of the effort, even though the secondary was torched a la '04 with a severe lack of experience.

at this point in the season, everyone here lovves TO again...big surprise.

Big fucking surprise. Everyone pissed and moaned when he asked for more money but as soon as he caught that first pass everyone loved his ass again.

Personally, I think the holdout was nothing more than a publicity stunt aimed at keeping the spotlight on himself during the offseason. A guy like TO can't stand not being the center of attention and, with a mentality like that, there's no such thing as bad publicity for him. He works his audience the way a wrestler would.

He can't stand not being the center of attention? That's why he's quieting down and making sure the team stays strong w/o allowing the media to pick them apart, eh? I'll agree that he sees himself as an entertainer, a showman...but as a person who's followed his career, I don't see him as someone who revels the animosity many have for him. If anything, he's always been annoyed by it and feels obligated to defend himself.

I would like to introduce you to Mike Patterson. Playing way beyond his years. What a great game and an awesome display by the Eagles. Go Birds!

What's that? Can't QUITE hear you.

I said that in reference to what would happen if the Eagles didn't have TO. Yeah, the Eagles are a good team with TO, and Donovan is a good QB with TO, no doubt about it.

That's irrelvant. McNabb is a great QB with or without TO. Your comment was aimed specifically at McNabb.

go fuckin horse

what a year what a year, the colts cannot be beat, to all you new england fans- our day has finally come and its gonna taste so fuckin sweet embarassing you in that shithole called foxborro...i'm flyin in for the game and i can't wait to see freeney snap that lil bitch brady right in half. 6-0 and still counting bitches, i'm gettin a ring :X

^ I wouldn't be so quick to jump your guns, man.

you obviously aren't a NFL fan of any sort of lengevity or else you would see the absurdity of your statement.

i think i soiled myself twice during the eagles/chargers game. i had all but given up hope after that horrible punt.

LT: 7 yards on 17 carries. no td. joesequel called it first in chat yesterday.

huge game for trotter.

mcnabb didn't look like that injury was bothering him too much when he was on that 23 for 24 stretch. oh, and the incomplete pass came when he spiked the ball to stop the clock. a couple other times it was pretty obvious though.

Stopped at the 1 YARD LINE!

but the only team with any type of fight in them that indy beat was jacksonville. and ya beat them 10-3. indy really needs to play some real teams before they or their fans start spoutin' crap from their mouths. indy fans need to wake up and realize one thing. payton is not a big game qb. and, his brother is having a better year this year.

yeah but lil Eli's only been winning at home...if/when he starts winning on the road, well, that's the test if the Giants are gonna have a chance of getting the division title...especially with Brunell on fire

hey, as far as i'm concerned, they both suck in one way or another. a case can be made that proves that payton has had no part in the current success of the colts. but when they start playing teams that actualy know how to win, then we will see what payton can do, if anything.
