The most important lesson psychedelics have taught you

I believe that the most important lessons brought on by the psychedelic experience all stem from the "meta-lesson" that is, to put simply: All is ONE.

Following from this:

How could we not wish to utilize our conscious capacity toward the ideals of love, positivity and unity? Exploiting other parts of the "system" will inevitably result in hurting the self, becuase the self is just a small piece of the one.

We can choose to be controlled by our fears, or guided by our love.

The experience of consciousness exists on an infinite spectrum, and we as humans have evolved to "tune-in" to a fragment of this experience; we have come to a remarkable point as a species where we can choose to take the reigns of our conscious experience and steer them into the infinite possibilities we know to exist, or let our fear of the unknown control us to the point of regression and/or self-destruction.

Steer towards love, life is a beautiful thing...

Fantastic post! You have expressed what i find true very well :).

My drug experiences have included few psychs/hallucinogens, after a terrifying experience with shrooms (they were home grown and delicious, just the person i was with unintentionally "flipped a switch" with an online image). I have been waiting for the opportunity to try lsd with my boyfriend, we have some said to be incredible tabs waiting in a friend's freezer.

All is One, as many have said, is my finding by other methods, not drug related. I am strongly based in eastern philosophy, and an avid reader of Alan Watts (who was a brilliant man and highly experienced in this field), and have come to this conclusion, with confirmation of such daily. This makes me all the more excited for what i may/will discover with lsd, etc.

Tattvamasi :)

We are a part of a bigger picture, something we will never know or understand. The human race is an infection!

Also, they showed me that words are insignificant and the true meaning of relationships and trust.

The human race is an infection!
That's so true!

I don't remember ATM who said it, could have been Joe Rogan in his rant on DMT, but anyway, he said that when you look at a big city like Los Angeles from high above, it looks just like cancer! This is exactly what we are doing as a species - we are eating away on our precious planet like cancer on living tissue.

Yep, Joe rogan's rant on DMT is where I first heard it. Then I also heard it on the movie "The Matrix" while I was high on acid and it made me really think..

That is the Earth is a sentient and intelligent being in which we are emanations of, and anything we need to know this planet can teach us because it is all in Her Mind, even information about extraterrestrial life because it is within Her that we can reach and contact the whole universe, not without (much like She is within us and not without; beginning to see a pattern here?). Humanity is currently in a parasitic stage of its evolution, but a parasite is merely a prototypical symbiote. An organism that destroys its living source of food has not evolved a sustainable life process for itself, so either this organism will meet its extinction or we will have to accept the greater complexity of further evolution in which we can establish a harmonious reciprocation with our living food source. If you haven't noticed, there's a window open to this greater complexity and its called psychedelics :).

I liked what you said, but I wanted to point out that psychedelics are not the only way to open this window. They are the fastest, easiest way, but meditation, yoga, and other practices open the same window, and it doesn't close after 8 hours.

My last LSD trip showed let me know that everything that I to know is already with in me. It is about listening to yourself and saying yes when you should and saying no when you shouldn't.

I came to this conclusion while I was sitting down wondering why LSD has never seemed to bring me any big revelations no matter the dose. My head told me everything you want to hear, you already know, and what you already know is what you need to hear. I went on with my trip and forgot about trying to find a revelation. That past few days (a week or so past when I trip), I really began thinking about how, I already know what I must do to be who I am/letting myself show, and unleashing my potential.

The wonderful state of realization itself, which is the most obvious thing in the world and simultaneously the most profound, is ultimately completely indescribable, and is the only thing truly real.

It destroys all desire in the same manner as one's desire for new material objects is temporarily destroyed during an orgasm.

*we are all the same person, just living a different life. we were all born with a 'clean slate' as they say and it doesn't make sense to look down on anyone. our different personalities and behaviours are created by our life experiences. not to say there should be no punishment for people who rape, kill....but understand and feel sorry that they either had a tough life or are mentally ill. love yourself and others. love and appreciation for nature the world and how complex it is. there must be a higher power.

I was defecating on four hits of liquid lsd and realized that the toilet is the greatest invention of all time. Look at all the technology in your house. Is there anything more essential than that non electronic piece of ceramic?

Not to judge people no matter what. Because all they are is another person just like me, they have the same feelings I have. So think about your whole life. And now think about living your whole life over again as someone else. It would be an entire other journey, you have to respect and love people for what they are great for. Everybody has problems and some are different than others but when it comes down to it, I feel like we are all the same being deep down

haha I have thought about the human race as more of an adaptation of evolving life forms formed into one being that is a machine for surviving on the planet. I once had an epiphany about this. I saw a part of a galaxy somewhere in the universe. Where life was thriving greatly, the beings that inhabitated these thousands of planets were very enviromentally friendly and it actually made that part of the galaxy a greenish blue color. It was so beautiful. I then saw a great flash of light, a force of a greater being was then present in the room with me. And this moved my soul it made me force my body up against the couch I was sitting on. A huge rush of euphoria came over me, greater than I could have ever imagined I instantly was reduced to tears in front of a few friends that were with me. I could tell that this being was here there with me to show me what the significance of my life. I knew that there was a greater force or being out there and i had just experienced one :)

This all happened on cannabis :O

They taught me, that our brains have the potential to do sooo much more, creativity, thinking etc etc. All of these feeling our already in our minds and that they just need a little kick start to get them on there way.

The most important lesson for me was that, nothing has to mean anything. All forms of knowledge are just perspectives, and that's just fine with me.
