what are the actual effects of ketamine? i've never tried it.. can it be compared to any other drug? what's the high like?
You'll feel a sense of disconnection from your surroundings (derealization) and your own sense of identity (depersonalization), with reality taking on a 'video game-like' feel. Sensory experiences will become more vivid, music, TV, movies etc will become immersive and easy to lose yourself in. The effect on mood can vary depending on set and setting, if you're comfortable and relaxed, it can be incredibly euphoric, if you're in a bad situation or find the sense of disconnection scary, it can be agitating or anxiety inducing - although in my experience this is far less of an issue than it is with psychedelics, as the 'disconnected' feeling makes it hard to become too invested in any emotional state.
Most people find it rather more-ish, so be prepared for that. At higher doses the hallucinogenic effects become more pronounced, ramping up to the 'k-hole,' in which your sense of reality dissolves completely, you effectively pass out and sink into an otherworldy dream-like state, completely losing any sense of your body or the world around you. This can be a beautiful experience, incredibly profound and spiritual, but I'd imagine it could also be rather scary if you aren't ready for it, so keep track of your doseage.
I think that not so much the ketamine but in any situation where for whatever reason you were unable to respond to somebody bullying you for an hour straight, you would be left with a ton of angry energy after that
does anyone have any experience or just anything to say with the differences between ketamine isomers?
