K and other dissociative drugs are not addictive like opiates, cocaine, tobacco etc. They can be psychologically addictive in that they are an instant anti-depressant and are excellent at helping one stop using addictive drugs. The trick is to stop the addictive drugs and not just replace them with K, MXE, 3-MEO etc.
You know, the irony of this is cruel. I found MXE to be a wonder drug for a good many months. I enjoyed it on its own, and in combination with damn near everything else I took.
It also helped me to reduce my opiate intake and taper off a relatively moderate benzo habit.
HOWEVER... the cruel irony bit:
It is the very fact that it does not cause physical dependency, has virtually no crash or hangover (the opposite in fact, I'd often feel better the days after a decent sized MXE dose), and for many people - I'm one of the lucky ones - doesn't have any side effects compared to stims, benzos, opiates, alcohol, etc... it is these things that led to me abusing MXE like nothing else I've ever done before.
This was a good two or three years back. I was lucky enough to get a decent amount, which I thought would basically last forever. I won't go into specifics about how much I ended up taking and how quickly I got through the supply which I had initially (and stupidly called "a lifetime supply), but there is no doubt that I was addicted to it. I ended up using in all day, every day. Even when it became clear that I was starting to experience delusional thoughts, and behaving in a way that had friends and family very concerned about my mental stability, I kept going. I couldn't stop until it was all gone.
It's almost too perfect: a versatile drug which seems to do a million different things (and gives radically different experiences via different ROAs) and can be used and even abused to excess without immediately noticeable side-effects. The fact is, it's ridiculously (psychologically) addictive. If you have a choice between knowing that you can feel better with minimal to nil negative after effects, what rationale do you have not to take it all the time?
Lastly:
3 meo pcp and K is an interesting combo, if you can get it. Really enjoy 3 meo might be my new mxe!
I've posted a few times about 3-MeO-PCP. It's also a hell of a drug, but don't treat it as an MXE replacement. It is very, very potent, and efffects are non-linear. You can quickly get into trouble with redosing and find yourself experiencing overwhelming states of psychosis-like episodes. It's not forgiving like MXE, and is best left as a once in a while thing.
