SERIOUS sleeping problems
PLEASE HELP!!!
Lately, I've had a lot of anxiety because I'm preparing to take the LSAT next Saturday. This anxiety has been taking over my life to the point that I CANNOT sleep anymore.
I wouldn't call is insomnia because I have been falling asleep....it's just that I've been tossing and turning every night, sometimes for hours before I fall asleep. Then, I usually have some off the wall dream that wakes me up and I'm for another hour or so, until I fall asleep again...then I can't get up in the morning.
I've never had trouble sleeping through the night; and, I've never had trouble falling asleep in my entire life.
I do the typical falling asleep techniques: dimming the lights a few hours before I'm heading to bed, I sleep with the clock facing the wall so I cannot see it, I try not to keep books or electronics in my room (feng shui-these items bring energy into the bedroom that keep you awake), and I sleep in pitch black and rarely turn the light on in the middle of the night (which startles you awake).
Seriously guys, even sleeping pills aren't helping me.
Does anyone have any ideas (I'm not looking for a drug alternative) to helping me sleep through the night...It's absolutely crucial that I start getting the rest I need these next couple of weeks before this test...and I'm stressing about it, which I know is making the situation worse.
Please help me!
