I agree so much man, LSD at high doses is incredible.
I understand everything and I feel like a god.
At low doses it's just average with basically no visuals.

One thing I can recommend NOT TO DO is do a high dose of LSD mixed with a high amount of alcohol

You are much more prone to blacking out, getting a sick feeling, and killing the magic that LSD brings. So next time you think drinking a 5th in less than an hour of 80 proof while or before taking acid is a good idea, thingkagain

took 5 hits of blotter one time (prolly around 500ug) and it was AMAZING.. At my peak me and a bunch of bros, who were also tripping, embarked on an adventure thru the neighborhood. It was christmas time and all the lights were sooo vivid and alive and the sky looked like it was a dark waterbed fucked up on morphine or something! haha but bombing this humongus hill on boards was the best part. The ground was wet from previous rain and I thought I was surfing on water with houses on each side and crazzyy traces of lights... all in all an awesome tripp and could deffinitely take more

First time LSD. I was suprised...

Me and my brother had our first experience with LSD last night.

I have done various psychedelics like mushrooms, AMT, 5-meo-mipt, 4-ho-met, 2c-b and few others before, but never tried LSD.

we had the opportunity to get one blotter which were supposedly pretty potent.

each of us took one half and we had a great time. it was far from overwelming or intense but i guess it gave us a good idea about what acid is like.

the thing that really suprised me was how clear headed we were. this was so different from the usual tryptamine feeling which i also like very much but which tends to make me "confused" in some way.

what i would like to know:

do high dose lsd trips tend to be also relatively analytical and clearheaded?

Analysis will fail at high dosage, as you won't be able to properly follow your thoughts; which in turn may indicate an answer to the clearheadedness question..

High dose and low dose LSD are 2 different animals. As said before your thoughts will come in hard and fast and before you take the time to really understand them as you would probably want to.

On high dose LSD there really isn't much (if any) left of your egoic reality, so there's not much left there to analyze. Just pure perception, seeing the world like an infant does; with no walls or barriers or categorizations, just awareness and being. %)

merged as confirmed since your actual question is about the nature of high dose acid trips and you merely mention your first trip despite the thread title... glad you had a great time by the way...

In general I find LSD to have the tendency to be more analytical and clear-headed but its definitely possible to get crystal vision from shrooms.

If LSD is clear-headed and analytical is not totally dependent on the dose. It's dependent on whether you have conflicts left to deal with or not. I would say very roughly there are 3 possibilities:
- you have a lot of issues, making the trip quite vague and confusing because it bubbles up and you are forced to deal with stuff that was latent.
- you have some issues and questions at the time, making the trip analytical because its not so much to overwhelm nor confuse you but still it makes you contemplative and doesn't leave you in peace..
- you are totally content at the time and don't have a cloud in your mind making it a crystal clear feeling in which your attention is completely in the moment, peacefully.

Of course this is thinking about the mindset and not about the setting which is a whole other factor.
Higher doses tend to push you quicker through this process, if there are a lot of issues you crash harder though them but on the other hand resolution is more at hand letting you get to the deep meditative peace.

I think this explains why higher doses can both cause more intense confusion and warping as well as deeper crystalclear peace of mind.

So i am contemplating going much farther than i have ever gone with acid, I just want to eat a heroic dose and i am thinking about squirting about a quarter of a vial down my throat.

Any advice from those who have gone way past a typical dose care to share?

I plan to wait a while before attempting it.

As soon as or before i drop it i plan to start meditating and trying to relax until it hits me.

As much as i hate it, the responsible thing would be to have at least someone around. When going this far you can occasionally need something to ground you. A friend of mine recently ate something like 21mg of DOI, got naked, and started trying to eat the furniture.....

I will make sure they agree to not bother me if i don't want them to be around me....

I have never had any problems letting go, i understand that it is important not to fight it and just surrender to the oblivion....

I have the opportunity in the next couple of months or maybe sooner. I guess its just the urge to see how far down the rabbit hole goes....

I've never tried acid (only shrooms and had an amazing first time with 3grams), and I'm looking to try some. Most of my friends tell me I should only do 2 hits for my first time. What do you guys say? I have the utmost respect for psychedelic drugs, and I have an extremely well outlook in life, almost always in a good mood (but I'm realistic about it).

The thing is, is that I want a really good first time. But I'm also pretty lightweight when it comes to ecstasy. I'm not sure how LSD would effect me. I know that I should take a low dose first, but given the information I've typed, what are your more experienced opinions? Should I just go with 2 and do more if I feel like it?

[Edit] I also wanted to include that I have very nice connections through my friends, and we're all pretty good friends (the dealer friendship type thing) so I don't really have to worry about bad batches or anything, because he will most likely drop some with me if we do it.

If you can handle 3 grams of shrooms i would say 2-3 average hits would be something you could handle.

I know people who's first time was like 4 by accident. They said it was the happiest mistake they ever made.

You BETTER BE 100% that your getting acid... i don't want to hear about another person,died from oding on some RC.....




The most REAL acid i ate was 1600ugs i ate 8 hits of 200ugs
