I took 9 tabs of acid and about a 0.3 of what i believed to be mdma and some ketamine. I had the weirdest thing happen to me once everything was kicking in strong i was standing there in my basement and my vision warped into what seemed like me viewing my self from a birds eye view in some sort of bubble my vision would go back to normal and then re-enter this "bubble" world all the while getting some very nice eye shakes from the mdma thouhg looking back i would say the mdma was more like MDA but on 9 tabs of acid who can really tell?

I love LSD in all doses. Small, medium, and large. It is such a versatile drug that it blows my mind (no pun intended). Whether I take a small, medium, or large dose purely depends on the amount of time I have available. These days, I rarely have 14+ hours to myself alone and the peace of mind of not being disturbed during the trip so I usually stay in the medium to small-ish dose range. Small doses are great for a night out socializing with some light drinking.
With a small-ish dose, I get the amphetamine speediness without actually taking any amphetamines which is great. I am up and about, lucid, thoughts are slightly altered, my mood is usually humorous, and no one can even detect I am on acid unless I tell them.
With a medium dose (hard to quantify but I am talking about 250ug to 450ug), I can compact the full trip within about 8-9 hours and be relatively sober after that. This is what I prefer to do with friends who are experienced with psychedelics but would never venture into the high dose range out of fear. Again, it's all time-dependent, if I have about 10 hours to myself and the right setting and set then I'll do a medium dose. Usually with this level of dose, I prefer to be not in a social situation but rather at home or outdoors (beach, park, etc.) or at a festival where there are not much in terms of social requirements to act/behave a certain way. I like the acid to take me where it wants to w/o interference from external stimulus.
With high/heroic doses (>500ug), I need to make sure I have about 16 hours to myself, no impending task to complete, assurance that I will not be bothered, and a relaxed setting preferably inside a home. Also, I usually prefer a sitter though I have not always followed this preference. The main thing with high doses is to make sure you are in a safe environment. I wouldn't want to be walking to the supermarket or running around town on this. Since it takes so much time though, I almost never get a chance to do this. In fact, the last time I did a high dose was in '98 I believe when I was still in college and had ample of time between sessions to have fun/explore/do as I wish. This was 10 hits of liquid dropped by myself on a sugar cube. The acid itself was quite decent and I had good feedback from experienced people who had tried this stuff. It actually went quite well - I tripped solo, locking myself in my apartment with some tunes in the back ground and plenty of weed at hand. It went really well and I had a good time. The visuals were amazing and I was quite jacked. However, it wasn't something that I felt I couldn't handle. It was very smooth with no issues. With this and other psychs I have used since, I believe I tend to be a hard head and able to take large doses with out too much issue.

I do feel a high dose LSD trip coming up soon... it's been too long and I want to experience that mind state again.

If you have the desire to take 4-5 then go ahead. Keep in mind, it will most likely (depending on quality) be much more powerful than your previous trips.
As for Valium, I suggest you use it as an eject mechanism if you start to bad-trip. Taking it before hand blunts the sharpness of LSD too much which I personally don't prefer. But keep the Valiums at hand and know that if you start wigging out, you can take the benzos to calm down. As well, knowing that you can take Valium to calm yourself down should give you some confidence going into the trip.

I know you're probably not crossing your fingers for a difficult time before you drop, but such an experience can really be valuable. You can learn a lot about yourself. You undermine a great opportunity by blanketing your cognition in a depressant haze. Life isn't always fun - tripping is an amplification of life - therefore, tripping is not always fun. That's the way it goes.

Very true IMHO.
That's what I always try to explain to neophytes and/or inexperienced or close minded people when talking about tripping on psychedelics.
Has anyone candyflipped with a high dose of LSD (1mg)? When I hear about candyflipping its usually 1-2 tabs with 1/2 -1 pill. The thing is I don't really like LSD at low doses, not as much as high doses anyway

Yeah man, it is fine.
My highest dose was 2 drops of liquid, i was told it was 300ug a drop, but who knows. I candyflipped too.

I've not gone up to 1mg of LSD in a candyflip but 500ug (known dose) and a gram of MDMA crystal (not all in one dose but was gone by morning) was one of the most incredible psychedelic experiences I've had. The 2C-B, nitrous and ket on the comedown was pretty good too

Acid and MDxx are always complementary in my experience.
Do you think this was because of the dose, or was it your set and setting? i havent jumped into the deep end of lsd yet, but ill be gettin a nice fat supply soon to play with. i think ill finally take those 7+ hits trips, ive wanted to for so long but im waiting for the right acid, i think this one thats coming might be the one!

Just need clarification on something. 2 hits of hoffmans were taken one day and 4-5 hrs into the trip all of a sudden, like in a split second sudden, it felt as if i splattered on a windshield like a bug, but i only felt that for like a nano second, then never again. I felt it and saw it and the main focal point about that feeling were extremely neon colors of my guts splattering, it reminded me of DMT. The second that happened I started getting scared so i went outside and sat in a chair and then the most lonely, darkest feeling i've ever felt started to occur for about 10-20mins and while sitting there telling myself im not really dying, telling myself my heart is beating normal and my breathing is normal, things were fractalizing. Then ofcourse it slowly wore off over time kind of leaving me traumatized and paranoid for a short while on the the same day. All i need to know is what happened?

^I'd say there was something dark within your psyche that kind of bubbled up to your consciousness via the LSD. Acid can be a catalyst in exposing underlying currents in your subconsciousness. Face that feeling and figure out why it manifested itself.

the first strong dose I got was a tab that probably was 500 mics. Halo's and patterns were blasting everywhere I could practically touch the electricity in the air. A half a year later I got ten hits that were probably 800-1000 mics my friend dosed me and said whoops because he dropped two. Haha. Anyway closed eye visuals and open were undistinguishable. I remember though I had one hyper manic egocentric period where I thought I was god basically. Anyway yeah I've tried any dose under 500 mics and it just isn't strong enough for me.

500+ mic tabs make hen's gnashers look commonplace. Unless you know the chemist or fella who laid them personally I doubt they were anything like that strong. Having said that, I do know the fella who laid my 500ug tabs so they do exist and good luck to you if you really did get such rare and exotic beasts.

i havent really any idea how to tell the rough dosage in ug of a hit, however i have had hits
that werent so much visual,
and ive had hits that were pretty strong, with my hair on fire, multi-colored walls, melting faces etc,
so im just wondering;
- whats a 100ug trip like?
- 200-300ug?
- 500-700ug?
just so i know how to tell roughly how strong the stuff im getting is.
im aware that hoffman took 250ug and was tripping his swiss face off though.
im also aware that the stuff im getting isnt as high as 500ug per hit, that would be fuckin awesome tho.
i ask so i know how many hits id need to take to have 1000ug in me.

Average hits in the UK are around 100ug - around 75-150ug is the common range. There are occasionally higher strength ones around (in the last year Rolling Stones and some of the Hoffman's at around 200-250ug, for example) and (sadly) occasionally weaker ones (not so sure on those but I think Mr Men and Where's Wallys were pretty weak but didn't try them myself) but as a rough guide 100ug is about right. Very hard to say what an "average" trip at any dose is though - I've had 200ug blow me way further out than double the amount before, vice versa and everything in between. I doubt anyone could tell you for sure, to be honest.

There's been talk recently of that liquid doing the rounds in Glagae (mainly dosed on sugar cubes) in the acid thread in EADD (linky in my sig). Pretty weak batch from all the reports. But that depends on how many drops you get dosed with, of course
