Social The Delphic Oracle - Know Thyself: P&S Social Ampitheatre of Doom

Thank you. I know, I feel blessed. And I know in the higher dimensions there is no sense of time like we have so they can see something coming up in advance and maybe do something like manipulate a police car to be at a certain spot, if possible. I still think it was a long shot and I got extremely lucky, though. But I've had a lot of things like that happen and my life feels like a fairytale sometimes (so I'm not very grounded, either, but maybe that's why I need help).

I must admit to be pretty scatterbrained right now. 4-Aco-MiPT is a a pleasant but taxing substance. Lead me down some odd paths last night, tangential thinking, mysterious presence's, distant glowing lights in the woods... I had a brief birds-of-view of life, but as usual, I couldn't bring it back with me. Its always 'over-there'. I guess psychedelic info is not meant to be retained consciously, I think it permeates your mind like a gas diffusing (or termites boring). All I know is that I have a new found respect for tree's. Big, silent, slow, gentle- human like qualities and they don't even have arms. I project always, the tree's must love me. The sky certainly did. <3

I think 2 things- 1) Psychedelics can provide true inspiration but one needs to have a good tuner to hone in on the right frequencys and 2) I am going to take some MXE, a dose of GHB, some hash and watch Vikings. I yearn to see some christians die, right now!!! :X8o=D<3

Did I ever mention the time that a friend and me decided to preach the Good News on a crowded train? I had rubbish thrown at me. :( They were rejecting me, the temporary embodiment of Jesus, those infidel/blasphemers/goyim fucks. I asked the father for help; you know the rest....*

This is NEAR where I meandered last eve:

John 15:18-25

The World Hates the Disciples

18
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’

Sounds like a great trip willow. :) I had a really amazing trip on tryptamines recently too, on Friday. Hadn't tripped that hard in years. Other than ibogaine which really doesn't count as a normal trip.

Doesn't this

- Showing overt political bias/agenda, particularly when starting threads, is bound to backfire one way or another. If you are unable to bottle up your political fervour regarding a certain issue, then you always have the option of posting in the Current Events and Politics forum or the BL Blog feature. Also don't forget that the rules above (No preaching, being respectful...etc) mean that posting politically-negative threads may very well end up closed, warned, and/or infracted, so save your time and ours and just don't do it.

Kinda contradict this:

4. All beliefs will be treated with equal respect. Diversity of belief -- religious, spiritual, philosophical, political, artistic, and social -- is the lifeblood of P&S. Humanity is nowhere near a consensus on many of the issues discussed here, and in the end, nobody has all the answers. Be forewarned before posting here that not everyone necessarily agrees with your point of view, nor should they be expected to, no matter how indisputable you find it to be. On the other hand, posters have the right to refuse being taken to task for their stated points of view, if they so choose. Keep in mind that some people post here seeking comfort, inspiration, and the company of like minds, rather than debate. If you would like to not be taken to task, just politely state that you are not looking to debate, and leave it at that. Less-than-polite requests to back off from debate will be dealt with the same way as ad hominem attacks, above. Posters who persist in attacking the viewpoints of others who have clearly and politely stated no desire for debate, will receive a warning, then an infraction.

Or am I, as usual, being an idiot?

It makes sense to me.

I think it means that you can always state your beliefs, but you should try and do so in a civil way in order to avoid a flame war and/or the derailment of the thread (in question)... You don't have to be biased to have an opinion, nor do you have to have an agenda when having a discussion with someone...

You're not an idiot, Rick.
The rules are seemingly contradictory because I imagine they're somewhat difficult to word.
They kind of have to be (kind of) contradictory, though. Because people are free to discuss whatever they like but not absolutely free to do it however they please... Could be worded better, I guess.

I'm sure if you politely suggest an alternative choice of words that the moderators will take it/them into consideration.
Otherwise, what's your point?
You know the rules.

pretty much this.
...
I think it's a useful point, but I think that the two guidelines are relatively consistent: one does not have to act as a missionary when expressing their views. I actually have hesitations about the OP having power to determine the tone of the thread to that extent. Threads are in essence a collaborative project, and they often defy the wishes of the OP yet often provide valuably substantive discussion in the process.

I'm convinced it's this site that keeps crashing my broswers. It's the only shady place I visit.

It keeps crashing. I don't know, I think it would still be considered "the dark side of the internet".

Could be from any number of reasons. The only way for Bluelight to be unsafe for browsers is if someone purposely put malware on here who has access to the site. I have a very hard time believing anyone would do that.

Also for what it's worth I think Bluelight is pretty far from the "dark side of the Internet"... we're partnered with MAPS now and have a .org (which you can't just get without qualifications), it's actually quite a legitimate organization.

I don't think the alligators know where the peach tree is.

I also I don't experience noticeable crashes that I can trace to bluelight.

Calling it the dark side of the internet is crazy, considering the reported amount of child-pornography online.
I don't see this as a dark forum, at all... I prefer it, in fact, to any other support service available to me.
