this totally belongs in here. It may not have been inspired by psychedelics but is very psychedelic none the less. Sensual and sexual to the max. the background music is by the tosca tango orchestra that did the music for the film walking life

Last time I stumbled
Onto that
Shore projection
The sky was blank and bright
Head in a fungus frenzy
Searching for some light
Chewing on dirt
In the night

This thread has inspired me to lock myself in a room with a large amount of art supplies and oranges on large amount of psychedelics and not leave until im done....

that being said, i have no idea where my only attempt at art on psychedelics was, its not nearly as good as most of them in here, but it was an attempt and i only had shitty markers to work with....

it sucks to be hit with the urge to draw and then run around the house like a crack fiend looking for art supplies...

once i get a pretty decent amount of 2c-i or e, and maybe some LSD i have been considering attemping a large mandala on my wall...

i like mandalas.... if i ever end up doing this, pictures will be posted...
 
btw i really want to get into color but the attempts i've made since getting the inspiration from Laika have been utter failures. i just have no concept of color. i've been a straight pencil and pen and ink person for so long. i recently bought a marker set to get into colors and am having no luck in producing anything that flows well. any advice for a b+w junkie looking to get into using lots of color?
 
if i do a mandala on my wall i am definitly going to lay out some perpendicular lines and ones at 45 degrees to those as well as using accurate measurments to make sure i get the symetry better....

as far as color, i think im just going to paint what amounts to a white circle about 3-6 feet wide on my wall and work with black and white for the first part of it.... for the 2nd i have been kind of playing around with the idea of going over all the white areas with some high intensity glow paint so that when the lights go off, the entire color scheme inverts...

and your mandala looks like it will be awesome....
