^ Seconded!

Damn I wish I could draw/paint. All I can do is look at other people's work and envy :)

^ Just do it man, give it a try. I'm a self proclaimed doodler. All it takes is dedication to time, and completing something, then you've got something to show ;)

I used to do it a lot back in high school and before that, but I was never any good. I haven't tried it much since I got into psychedelics though, perhaps they have improved my skills. They have otherwise increased my creativity a lot though, that's for sure. I think I'm gonna grab a pencil and a paper next time I'm tripping and see what transpires :)

DO IT! If you feel creative on psychedelics how can you truly prove it? Just by saying it? I wanna see some stuff by Recept! It's all about time my man :)

^ Well, I also produce music as a hobby, and use of psychedelics has definitely helped me a lot in that regard. Also, goes without saying really, that imagination is really improved a lot by psychedelics, and more active imagination = more creativity, the way I see it :)

That's awesome, I'd love to hear some of your songs :)

I just try not to use psychedelics as a crutch for my creativity. I've easily fallen into ruts before where I feel I'm not creative without psychedelics buzzing through my head ;)

Yeah, I didn't mean to suggest using them as a crutch for creativity. I usually make music when sober anyway, I just occasionally take psychedelics to gain new ideas when I'm otherwise low on inspiration. Also, my drawing skills really suck, and I'm just hoping psychedelics might help me improve them, that's all. By no means would I only want to draw when under the influence once I get the hang of it :)

Hmm, I'd share some of my music, but TBH I haven't been too productive in that respect lately. Actually it's been a couple of years since I finished a track, but perhaps I can upload something if you (or anyone else) are interested. I was mostly into drum'n'bass back then, I don't know how you feel about that. :)

These days I've gotten more into experimental stuff, and try to infuse different genres together, but unfortunately I really can't find the motivation to finish anything and most of the time end up with short clips, kind of like a sketch of an idea, to use the analog with visual arts :\

Yeah, I wasn't trying to preach to you, in fact I was speaking from experience. Where I can get like that with psychedelics, not even drawing every until I'm tripping out. :)

I'd love to hear it, I'm up to hear anything, I don't stick between any border when it comes to music. Though I really dig the idea of blending genres ;)

this is a very, two years ago, old line drawing
...its probably about coming to terms with my sexual demons, or something like that, and was one of the first in my psychedelic fuzed line drawing style
...makes for a trippy optical illusion, its still one of my favorites of the old school.

^ That's very nice! :)

Ok, well I've uploaded an older track of mine, it doesn't really fit under the topic of psychedelic art, but it does have some trippy elements to it I suppose. Here it is :) Sorry about the size, it's 320kbps and I was too lazy to cook up a lower quality version, so sue me :p

Regarding blending genres, I feel that electronic music these days really is mostly about that - all kinds of labels are mostly being rendered meaningless, and weren't ever all that useful anyway IMO, other than to serve the purpose of describing different kinds of music played in events, radio shows etc. Although I must admit it is rather difficult to break free of those boundaries when talking about music, especially to people that are less knowledgable in the subject.

Oh, and I'm the same way regarding the borders when it comes to different genres - it is my opinion that there are no bad genres - just bad tunes =D

kracks - I love it, it's perfect!

And I'm listening to the song now for the second time Recept. I totally dig it :D

Here's a couple pictures a good friend of mine made for me

This was for me birthday once upon a time:
