☮ Social ☮ The Big & Dandy Music on Psychedelics Thread (Track #2)

I really want more people to experience DMT listening to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAkLTs9ENfM, Ogive by William Orbit. It's an intensely beautiful piece of music. I've used this song for DMT a few times now and the experience has been so unutterably profound that I feel obliged to share it with whoever might be reading.

To me this song just IS hyperspace. The spirits absolutely dig it, they all flow together in this indescribable harmony, the way they express themselves through it is the most magical, beautiful thing I've ever experienced. I have been doing this with Changa I should note. I haven't tried freebase DMT, but from people who've tried both changa is said to feel much more natural. That's the way it feels to me, incredibly natural and organic. There are no straight lines at all in my trips, my hyperspace is curvaceous, voluptuous, quite feminine, oozing with love and life and profound, ineffable mysteries. Completely benevolent and soul satisfying. Nothing's ever felt so 'right.' This piece of music is beautiful but also very squishy, it moves very organically as well. And the chord progression brings out the most satisfying emotions imaginable, the notes used are pure and loving, perfectly suited to guide the changa breakthrough

If anyone takes this trip I'd love to know how it goes :)

I can't believe no one's mentioned phish. When you're feeling euphoric, theyre the way to go. Such bubbly fun, massive musical peaks, goofy lyrics, goddam! the Dead is spacier and more real at the same time. Less goof, more cosmic? It's hard to describe but both are my biggest influences.

The big wu's song break of day is also a huge trip saver I think. Simple major melodies, strong earthly lyrics, something about it keeps me centered.

I love crytsal castles when tripping, the dynamic melodies and the piercing female vocals make it perfect for me to bump and sing along to while im high. I also love Animal Collective - the spirit theyve gone spirit theyve vanished, its such an underrated gem of an album with lengthy avant garde tracks, and you cant go wrong with Mr.Bungle - Califorinia as well.

A very special artist and album right here. Real good for any psychedelic of your choice. Much enjoyed while stoned or not. Under the category of instrumental, jazz, downtempo, experimental, funk and trip-hop.

YES! I agree with everything said here, I love Animal Collective and Spirt is so amazing, and Mr. Bungle is some awesome fun music too. I love experimental music altho I'm having trouble thinking of any other good ones at the moment as I've been on a dance music binge for over the past year, just can't seem to get enough breakbeats, especially some early 90s rave and jungle stuff always put a smile on my face on any substance.
