Only two movies I've managed to watch whilst tripping. A+

Its amazing and trippy, at the start its completely first person and he does dmt and you see the visuals he see's, its amazing to watch.
 
Stormcharger, downloading that as we speak as we were looking for a film to watch while were tripping that isnt a stonerish, psychadelic, fear and loathing film. Crazy thing is its about Oscar and Alex, same name as me and my fiancee who are going to trip together, gota mean something huh?
 
Curse of the Golden Flower.

On top of all the colour and awesome samurai shits, they have english voice-over which is great to watch tripping.

That is pretty crazy! Enter the void is definitely an experience.
 
The only movie I've really enjoyed while tripping was when I saw The Dark Knight in IMAX tripping acid in New Orleans. Not something I'd expact to be good for tripping, but there you have it.

Everything else I've attempted was just boring, unfunny (if it was supposed to be a comedy) and difficult to follow.

I do really enjoy Planet Earth while I'm tripping though.
 
To be honest, I'd just watch Enter The Void while sober, it might be a little too intense whilst tripping.
 
I usually put in a film right after I dose (or dose while watching) it help takes your mind off the trip coming on (relieving stress) and 9/10 times it will set the mood for the trip, which can be really interesting!

Enter the Void was FUCKED up. But it does have that cool scene when he smokes DMT, that's before shit hits the fan.

Tim Burton's "9" is an amazinggggg movie for LSD.

A Scanner Darkly... any other PKD adaptations
Waking Life
Apocalypse Now if I'm in the mood for something really dark.
I like to watch light comedies on the come down... i.e. Harold & Kumar, Idiocracy, Sasha Baron Cohen movies etc....
 
Oh yeah and Planet Earth and Blue Planet BBC documentaries as narrated by Sir Richard Attenborough. It makes a great drinking game if you drink every time he says vast. That puts me to bed in minutes.

Oh yeah, I totally agree, there's just something about the atmospheres and attitudes... some of the ideas Joker was expressing even started making sense! When he goes to visit TwoFace just after the explosion, in his hospital room, on why he is sowing chaos, his diatribe about all the supposedly good people with very bad PLANS, how they are really just obsessed with everything going according to PLAN even if the plan has HORRIFY consequences... about how all it takes is one little thing going OFF PLAN and everyone PANICS! Just too profound and SCALP TINGLING **IDEAS** when I was tripping on 25mg 2C-I I was just conceptually BLOWN AWAY unlike any movie has ever done, just totally genius writing, and of course that being delivered by Heath Ledger's legendary get-under-your skin performance, just whoa. And really all the visuals and directing and the music and sound design in the movie too were somehow just deeply impressive whilst tripping, man! I urge everyone to give it a shot!
 
The first time I ever watched 2001: A Space Odyssey was at a movie theater that was doing a Stanley Kubrick tribute thing. Me and my friend gobbled up about 5 grams of cubenzis between us about 10-15 minutes before the movie started. We started tripping right around the part where the apes discover the first Obelisk and we both peaked around the part where he goes through the tunnel of light. Me and my friend both looked at each other at that part and just gave each other this understanding look and we both smiled at the same time.:D

Seriously one of the best movie watching experiences I have ever had. I've only watched the movie one other time and it was also in a theater the very next year and this time I had taken a tab of LSD. Since then I have vowed only to watch that movie in a movie theater and only when I'm tripping. To this day I've still only seen the movie twice and unless it plays at a theater near me and I happen to have some good LSD or shrooms I will refuse to watch it.

That newish science series "How the Universe Works" was awesome. I watched all 8 of them on ketamine over the course of a few nights. Mind blowing.

I bet it would be cool on a traditional psychedelic too.
