For me MXE is only euphoric in 40mg+ doses nowadays. My friend tested it for the first time a few weeks ago and took 30 mg, he had no euphoria (but did enjoy the experience). I had taken 55 mg and was euphoric as hell. Sub 20 mg doses just produce a tired and bored state of mind. Maybe it's tolerance or I'm just getting too used to it.
 
So has it been somewhat established that there's a good likelihood that combining MXE with MDMA will not cause or be likely to cause serotonin syndrome?
 
If there were an extremely potent interaction between MXE and serotonin releasers by now forums should have been flooded with reports from friends of the deceased who paid absolutely no heed of sites like this one before combining novel drugs. The one report of the death with IV MDAI indicates we shouldn't IV suicidal amounts of novel untested drugs together. I'm not sure what more, of any reliability, can be derived from that case. Based on the activity of ketamine and PCP, it is likely that MXE has some interaction with 5HT2 sites, but to my knowledge that's not of grave concern to combining it with well-established recreational serotonin releasing drugs like MDMA at common recreational doses. This doesn't mean things can't go sour or that MXE plays nice with everything else, just that it probably won't kill you if you keep the dosing within reasonable limits. There is no definitive data on MXE's pharmacology/toxicity/etc/ at all.
 
People have been taking K with mdma for aslong as they've both been around and I've never heard any terrible interaaction stories... mxe works on the same principles so I don't see any issues as long as common sense is present...
 
I've used it at the end of 125 mg oral MDMA dose before without issue. I've also used it with aMT (15 mg intramuscularly) and mephedrone (120 mg rectally) without issue, and both of those theoretically overlap with MDMA in pharmacology. I've used it with DXM at up to 600 mg (DXM) (a combination warned about earlier) without issue. None of this is to say MXE in combination with these drugs won't fuck with you mentally in a way you're not looking for, but I'll say I personally experienced no worrisome physical signs in combination with any of these drugs. My usual MXE dose is 30 - 50 mg rectal.

I've been doing mxe since it first came out, lots and lots and lots of times at low and high doses and I've never had "visuals" where anything around me looked different or "psychadelic"... things have looked very sharp and enhanced, like HD vision, and sometimes I get night vision, but I wouldn't say the visual effects are psychadelic.
 
I don't think I've had any 'true' OEV on mxe, at high doses I do lose stereoscopic vision (i.e. I get weird visual distortions because of double vision- people having two eyeballs clustered under each eyebrow) and it also causes classic dissociative 'stretching' and 'shrinking' of your field of vision, as well as occassionally 'flattening' your vision into two dimensions (so when I'm lying in bed it looks like the duvet is melting down the wall). I don't think that counts as OEV? I have thought that I was having amazing OEVs, but really I was just so smashed that I didn't understand what a glass of iced tea was and thought it was the most amazingly vivid, realistic and beautiful OEV I'd ever been witness too. Imagine how excited I was when I worked out I could drink my hallucination!

CEV on the other hand, mxe trumps everything else than I've experienced. The CEV were more realistic and emersive during my first plugged 'm-hole' dose of mxe than they were during my first true breakthrough dmt experience. I've been the god to entire universes for billions of years that only existed with my eyes closed on mxe. Seriously, I thought I would be fine having taken dmt and pretty much all the other traditional psychedelics plus over a dozen psychedelic RCs including DOC and DOB, not to mention 1.2g DXM (with no tolerance) and plenty of experience in navigating the k-hole, but 100mg plugged when I didn't have a tolerance blew me the fuck away. Best dancing I ever did heh.
 
^ Everyone's different. Personally I don't find MXE to be euphoric in the slightest and yet others say it's massively euphoric.

Edit: damn. Just to be clear I was reffering to methoxetaman's post.
 
Judging from people's posts (and lack of MXE deaths, as psood0nym said, people will take whatever without caring) I guess MXE will go with MDMA without anything bad going on. Since I did MXE yesterday and am doing MDMA tonight I'll probably be able to tell if there's a diminished effect from the MDMA which (I hope) is the worst that will happen
 
Speaking of possibly unsafe or terrible combos, I'm wondering what about 15mgs of this would feel like in combination with 100mg M1 and 150mg mephedrone, all bombed orally in a capsule. I can see it either being reaaaaaaaaaally nice or just adding an element of confusion and mindfuck. Any thoughts?
