Lysergamides The Big & Dandy LSZ Thread

75 ug the day after a roll on the 2-fma/5-mapb/tryptamine combo + using Xanax to sleep had very light effects. A slight sparkle if I paid attention to it, energy, and a huge laughing-crying fit after smoking cannabis.

A friend who has Bipolar II and is taking Lamotrigine had a full-on trip on 75 ug and ran around "on a journey" all day into the night.
 
I took 150ug of this with a friend on Sunday. Swallowed tab at 11:00, took about an hour before it started to kick in. There was a bit of unpleasant body load on the come up (tremors and an upset stomach), but this smoothed out by the time the peak came around. Very pretty visuals, great enhancement of music. A typical and very enjoyable psychedelic experience. The peak was from 14:00 to 16:00. By 18:00 I was coming down quickly and was happy to travel back across the city to my home. Felt completely back to normal by 21:00.

The following day I noticed two reasonably large unexplained bruises on my legs, one just below my knee, one on my shin. Can't attribute it to the drug for sure, but can't think of another cause.

This felt very similar to LSD, just with a slightly more intense body load, unpleasant on the come up. I would be willing to dose higher, but I can easily imagine that above 300ug or so the uncomfortable body load would outweigh the positives.
 
My next experience with this will definitely be at least 300ug. I honestly found 225ug to be somewhat underwhelming, I expected it to be a much greater increase in intensity compared to 150ug. I figure I'll keep pushing the dose higher until the body load becomes unpleasant. I'm also thinking that the next time I dip into my liquid LSD, I'll be trying 1 hit of LSD combined with 150ug of LSZ. A friend of mine tried this about a week ago and said it was excellent and that the duration of the two combined was much greater than either alone.
 
I had a 150ug experience the other day for the first time with LSZ, or any lsergamide (sp?). It took about an hour to notice any changes and slowly rose to a peak at 2.5-3 hours from ingestion. I found the feeling very spiritual or personally meaningful, however you define it. I had made a list of things for myself to ponder under the influence and upon reading them I was very strongly emotionally inspired to overcome personal problems and to better myself. I felt like 'myself' in a way I hadn't for quite some time and it was very refreshing. The next morning I went through with what i had promised myself and disposed of a sizable stash of drugs that were causing harm in my life and relationships.

I was having anxiety prior to the trip and once it kicked in, it continued for a while with a fast heart beat (it was fast before ingestion too). After I had reached an agreement with myself on my personal issues, I felt much more calm and relaxed more, about 3-4 hours into the trip. Around the point I put on some music (The Beatles - White album) and the listening experience was orgasmic and amazing, indescribable even. The trip tapered off, coming down around 6-7 hours after ingestion, but after effects lingered several more hours and I had trouble sleeping. The next day I was very tired, but in a fantastic mood, which still persists until today, 4 days later.

Visuals were relatively subtle; brightened and saturated colours, a mild 'fish eye' type distortion, some movement in my peripheral vision. The closed eye visuals I think were more impressive, but I have a hard time remembering. I also had some muscle tension, mostly pronounced in the first 4 hours, though it was not uncomfortable. Compared to 2c-e, maybe 1/3rd as much tension.

All in all an absolutely fantastic psychedelic. It felt a lot more powerful than I was expecting from one hit!
 
Great report, sounds like a wonderful first lysergamide experience. LSD was always my favorite compound (by far) so I was extremely excited to try LSZ and it was certainly not a let down. I'm really looking forward to AL-LAD becoming available again.
 
I believe I read that it is, but only slightly. Also, individual reactions seem to vary quite a bit. Some people have had decent trips with as little as 75ug, while I still found 225ug to be not quite as intense as I would like.

The (S,S)-(+) isomer (which is what is supposedly being sold) should be in theory the most potent one so far (even more than LSD). Irl I'd say all three are about the same potency, but since the effects aren't identical (AL-LAD is more visual), some would call it more potent.

300ug is an excellent choice, should be more visual at that dose too.

LSZ, LSD, AL-LAD and all the other lysergamides should produce the same result. Or to be more exact, ehrlich's test tests for the presence of an indole, so anything containing that should give the same results.

I'm surprised at the range of repsonse to; difference in bodyload and some can't tell it from acid.
I would know this from acid blind without a doubt and the physical was noticable but tempted to try again; mostly getting positive responses.
 
Have you tried AL-LAD too? Which one is closer to LSD for you (if we forget about the duration)?

I found LSD, AL-LAD and LSZ all to be unique enough to be their own things and worthy on their own merits rather than as replacements of each other, but I found LSZ slightly closer in effects to LSD itself, though I only took AL-LAD and LSZ once each, and had a little tolerance when I tried LSZ at 150ug, so it wasn't as strong as it would normally have been at that dosage. Felt similar to maybe 70ug-ish LSD with no tolerance.

That said though, of the lot I found LSD the best "all-rounder" of the three, AL-LAD was slightly more giggly and recreational and silly, and LSZ was a little more serious, introverted, and thoughtful. As I said, all have their own merits :)

It's interesting that this stereotype has developed between the three, it seems most people agree. Between the two that I've tried, LSD and LSZ, I'd say that the stereotype holds. LSD seems to be a bit more manic than LSZ too. I've only done LSZ once though so I should stop talking like an expert now.
 
LSZ has less anxiogenic for me than LSD, for sure... but I only researched low dose
 
I have a couple of LSZ-tabs left, and I want to do the rest with a buddy of mine. Problem is, he gets regulary piss test, so what I'm wondering is if LSZ can give a false-positive (or whatever it is called) for LSD. Does anyone know?
 
I didn't even think it would be possible to test for LSD, because of the tiny doses.
I think if there is actually a test sensitive enough to pick up LSD in urine (days later at least), there is a good chance it would also pick up LSZ.
 
But it depends on if they're just searching for LSD itself. I don't know the answer but just because it picks up LSD, an equally small dose, doesn't mean it will pick up LSZ. But it might, I'll wait for someone else to chime in who knows.
