k can be different depending on what country it was made in and who made it. can vary from very fine to rock salt looking. quality really cant be told from just that. mostly has to do with what chemicals they use to produce it with

So other chemicals besides ketamine are used in the production of ketamine and affect the shape of the crystals?

Does that mean that when you cook ketamine down to crystal, the same chemicals affecting the shape of the crystal are also left as impurity in the crystal? I'd assume cooking it would reduce any other chemicals (if there are any other chemicals in liquid ketamine?) and would have no effect on the shape of the crystal.

I always thought ketamine was ketamine, without any other chemicals, but this could explain why some crystal ket that has no discernible cut sometimes seems to be weaker than other crystal ket. Not sure what to think.
 
So I use K every now and then, just snorting a few bumps during a night out. My neighbour deals the stuff in crystal form and so I generally buy it from him.

He told me that he got this new batch in from India and that it takes a lot longer to kick in (like 20-30 mins compared to the usual ~5) but that the effects are far stronger. I saw him in a club a few nights ago and I've never seen him so fucked on K so it does seem to be the case.

He's selling it at the same price so I have no reason to doubt him but does anyone know the truth about this?
 
Hey I posted this a while ago but it seemed to have been buried under several posts and was never responded to.

Is there anyway to clean up ketamine that may be dirty/contaminated. I have this K that has some bits of dirt and stuff in it because the supplier was very careless with how he cooked and packaged it.

It is definitely K but it seems to irritate and burn much more than other K I have tried. It is also a light grey color while my other K is very nice and crystally white.

Anyway to turn this crappy grey shit into the nice clean crystals? If not I might just toss it out. I got this stuff as a freebie from my dealer so its not a big loss but I rarely come across K so if I can salvage it that would be great.

I appreciate any advice you guys can give even if it's just "there's nothing you can do about it".
 
Dirt as in potting dirt? Why would there be potting dirt in your Ketamine? :? Id switch dealers mate, haha.

Ive had ket crystal that was a bit off-white color, and could look grey in different light. It ended up being really nice ket, but YMMV. There's no way to tell if there's something wrong with it or if its cut though as we are not there and we havent tested it ourselves.

There are ways to "wash" ketamine and get salt out though if that's a cut you're trying to get out. (I say that as salt is one of the most common cuts these days for ketamine)

A simple Isopropanol bath will clean that up (for the most part at least)
 
No just like little dark specks of something not soil/dirt.

This guy doesn't usually sell K he just knows I like it so he gave it to me as a favor.

He told me that he somehow fucked up when cooking it and was careless with the baggie he put it in. He got it in vial form and did some of it himself then gave the rest to me, which I believe because he has gotten me a vial/lick once before that I cooked myself.

He only gave me about 250mg and it was free as I said before so I doubt it is cut. He said this is the same source but it looks different. The grey color is what threw me off as I can't imagine how that could happen from cooking it wrong. Who knows maybe he's lying about the source but I doubt it.

Maybe I'm just imagining it but the small amount I did seemed to taste a lot worse (drip) and burnt a bit more than usual.

I guess I'll just use this batch for bumps and smaller doses and use the cleaner looking stuff for fully dissociative doses. I don't wanna sniff to much debris at one time lol.

Sorry I couldnt be much of service to you. I doubt there's anything wrong with it. It could be that he cooked it for a bit too long, but I dont know as Im not there to see it, nor was I there when he cooked it up.

I think it all comes down to a matter of do you trust your source or not. If you truly believe something is wrong with your ketamine, do not use it. Your health is worth more than 250mg's.
 
Well this guy is my weed dealer and has been for a while and he has always been trustworthy in that regard. He has also given me perfectly good K before. He told me himself that he fucked up when cooking it so it's not like he didn't warn me. He's not the most intelligent guy as he didn't even understand the basics of evaporating a solution to solidify the solute.

Your right, it probably just got cooked a bit too long. But yea I will try to do a few more small bumps and see. Thanks for the input man.

doesnt sound like K to me. But i cant really tell you what it could be.:\
 
Maybe one of the new PCP analogs? It's a possibility but thats total speculation, no one can really tell you for sure without getting it lab tested.
 
From what ive been reading, 3-MeO-PCP seems to be out of circulation [dont know how true this is, but all signs have been pointing to it (at least from who im hearing from)], and 4-MeO-PCP wouldnt take 30 minutes to come up on, especially if insufflated.

But as both you and Delsyd have said, theres no way to tell what the substance is (without a proper GC/MS test at least).
 
It was probably cooked to long or hot, I've done it on accident. It came out "less white" not a dark grey though. Worked fine, just didn't inject any from that batch.

Bahaha, in my state it took so long to contemplate what the fuck drogas was.

Is oral K epic if it can be afforded? It lasts such a short time, I just feel like more than an hour would be ouuuuuuut there.
 
oral K is more sedating, and most definately nauseating.

you hav to eat a large amount aswell, eating that much of a chemical is never gonna be nice for your stomach
