we were redosing almost upon waking up from crashing previously, we did this for a good part of last summer, i started out with 3mg if i remember correctly, although my best friend had a habit of just guess-timating our dosages and not telling me what measurement it was actually until after i started coming up. we were kind of assholes to each other but hey what else are friends for, hes the only one i know personally who did DOC more than once and didnt go through ego death.
 
I've never had ego death from DOC. I have had some ego dissolution where I got lost in space for a while in some of my earlier trials. Granted, I take it at 2-3mg usually, for hiking and camping and such, or festivals. I also abused it pretty heavily for a time, it was pretty normal for me to take it, and upon waking (or even if I never slept) take more the next day. I think I took it 5 days in a row one time. I don't recommend it but I never noticed any long-term negative consequences, I just had some sleep deprivation issues when I did that. I also never increased my dosage much... the most I took was 7mg in a day and the vasoconstriction felt negative, and I decided I wouldn't try it that high again.

But yeah I've received impure DOC before. So you never know. Either way I'm trying to impart safe dosing practices for DOC. You really have to be careful when you're working with it, because it's a lot easier to do something wrong and end up in a bad place than it is with most other psychedelics.
 
yeah ego death on DOC is BAD, like i almost hurt a lot of my friends when it happened to me, cuz well that shit makes you pumped and i blacked out on the come-up, woke up in a different town at a friends house, and none of the people that were there would talk to me for over a week at least. i broke pretty bad though.

Good recommendation Xorkoth, you are setting good examples. Though we disagree on the safety of DOC we both agree being responsible lessens the risks associated with drug use.

and yes i was extremely irresponsible, i was high as fuck all the time

You don't have to prove that you're not a troll--especially because you're not giving advice or making a recommendation, just stating your experience. Just stick around: trust, to whatever extent it's really necessary or relevant on a forum like this, tends to come with time and a history of credibility.

I'm glad that you can come to the table in terms of working to minimize risks, despite your differing opinion about the nature of those risks. It makes me think more highly of you.

Most of us don't think you are a troll. The poster that said you were is a troll. Steamboat hates DOxes with a passion and legitimately believes that they are as dangerous as bomamines, like 2C-I-NB2OMe.

I wouldn't describe Steamboat as a troll. We can disagree with his position, but he's earnestly trying to help people.

He is wrong. He has been called out as wrong many times. He might as well go to a car forum and tell people why they should never drive a car and that to reduce the risk of crashes, bicycles should be used.

I can't for the life of me think of any reason why discussing the safety of psychedelic amphetamines would be a bad thing. It's an actual concern, even if I don't agree with SteamboatBillJr. Definitely not a chemical for the inexperienced..
 
Absolutely, it should be discussed so people understand that you have to be careful with them, they're very potent drugs that have real consequences from overdosing.

a good friend and fellow bluelighter ended up committing suicide after dosing meth/DOC like this. please be careful if you are serious.
 
thedeadlywar / nowwtf / Nathan.

the meth was definitely more to blame. he'd been pretty addicted to meth since he was about 13 or 14. but yeah, the final deed happened after staying up all night on a meth + DOC bender. =/
